Dm3 drop off issues.

Got a new to me Dm3 aired her up to check how she was doing. First few shots are great no fsdo then when rapid firing massive drop off. Single shots are fine. I figured ok needs some lube. Pulled the bolt apart orings all look good cleaned and lubed and reassembled. Pulled the lpr out cleaned lubed and reassembled no issue there I could determine either. Pulled the fatty stabilizer apart found dow based lube inside, cleaned that out removed the valve cleaned and reassembled. Problem still there. The thing I am noticing is the pressure guage on the reg is severely dropping off. If the reg cannot keep up the lpr would also have issues cycling the bolt correct? I used dow33 on the bolt and lpr oil in the stabilizer.

Recently returning player after 15 years. Bought the spool I never got back then. Adult money and wanting the toys. I was shocked when my 04 viking after all these years aired up and chronod no issues. Tuning the mech cockers took more remembering.

make sure it isn't a tank pressure issue. make sure your tank is outputting at least 100psi above your reg output pressure. make sure you have a fresh quality battery. make sure your lpr pressure is set higher than just enough to cycle.

Thank you for the reply. The tank is set at 650 output pressure. I also tried another tank I need to see what a empire 68/4500 outputs. I tried various lpr settings, i am unsure what lpr i have it isn't a dye bullet i know those from autocockers. I will try a fresh battery when I am back in the country. Could it be dwell settings as well?

I suppose it could be if the dwell was changed to a lower setting or if you have a fsdo dwell setting set to be higher.

It's currently at 12fp and 35bp. No fsdo and slow single pulls are fine.

I am unfamiliar with the fatty stabilizer how is the recharge on one? I'm wondering if the on off asa may be the issue. It would explain most of the issues I think. The stab drops to almost 0 during rapid firing.

Also inhave modern spool valve dye markers. Is the dwell just a combined setting covering what this one splits into forward and back pulses? Basically to compare its add forward and back pulse timing?

The text unless I'm reading it wrong seems to imply it goes the opposite and the oring cad on zdspb shows it the way I would interpret the explanation. So long story short what is correct?

Zdspb.com has it displayed wrong. The Dye manual is correct in how it's pictured... you may be interpreting the text incorrectly.

Not sure what did it but I pulled the asa apart and cleaned and lubed it. Nothing really to report there other than it has a single tiny hole like there would be on a duck bill. I set the forward pulse to 15 and now she seems to dry fire fine. Playing tommorow at my local field friendlyfire.

Anyone know offhand what a revi will feed? Not sure how to get this to around 10 bps. The manual has settings for around 12.5 I think maybe I just do that?

A revvy will do about 10 but not super consistently, if it were me id run it at 12.5 with a rotor. As long as you have a bit of self control the extra 2 bps wont be an issue

So I took it out same issues. Took it home flipped the stop so the indent faces the front of the marker. And it seems to have resolved itself. The manual describes it properly but shows it backwards. Gonna get it shooting at proper fps and top hat mod from there. These are such smooth shooters it's amazing. Just not as snappy as my 04 viking. Friendly fire does not require a cap but I enforce one on my own. Woodsball with rec players to me doesn't need to be the wild west of the bps war of the early 2000s.
