DW wrote back and suggested I lube all the seals and clean out anything that looked dirty. I’d already done that though.

But by the time they wrote back I’d already RMA’d it and sent it back to ANS for replacement. Should get processed next week.

I'm honestly impressed somebody screwed up a Gtek that much, they're tanks!

I have no idea what would cause the spool to snap in half aside from intentional abuse or damage. My other GTEK just won’t quit - the gamma core is such a solid platform.

Loved mine! I just sold it because I mostly play pump and most fields near me have Emeks

Have you toyed with the DW HAir in the GMEK vs an EMEK? It put them about par with eachother?

I don’t own an Emek so I’m not sure. This really is for the slider goodness - the Emek is more popular because it’s cheaper, faster, hoseless, and aftermarket parts are everywhere.

I did receive a replacement DW valve and it still leaks. I’m working it out withDW support over email.

Problem solved! I put the core from my other GTEK in and everything worked fine. From front to back, I swapped a part from the red GTEK in until the leak happened and found out the switch - the blue cup waaaaay at the back of the core - was leaking. New orings changed nothing, and it causes a leak in both markers. Will have to replace it.

I still need to tune the trigger some more, but it’s shooting ~275 right now (should’ve called them out in the video - 273, 280, 279). It’s very walkable and smooth.
