    First Strike Roscoe Revolver

Defcon released a video on the new Roscoe .50 cal revolver. I find it interesting to see that First Strike designed it with a 12 gram changer identical to the Nelspot 007. Just like the 007, you even have to remove the left grip panel to access it. I'll stick with my TR50, but it still looks cool.

They released a non-adjustable pistol. Wow.
You'd think they'd address the single issue all these .50 pistols have at release.

Supposedly they're adjustable by swapping out the valve, but that's hardly convenient.

I'm scratching my head over that too. At least my TR50 has a modern 12 gram changer.

i hope someone can modify it to take a quickchanger. IMO that's a deal breaker.

Someone would pretty much have to design a set of battle grips like for the 007 with a hole for the 12 gram.

Is it really that big an issue? Its 50 cal, you should get a ton of shots off that 12g. (unless it's a gas hog) I wish it took standard FS rounds.

I would love to see a revolver that is double action and takes standard first strikes.

The issues with adjustment and quick changing make me think it's a rebadged import by Umarex.

That's not an umarex gun, it's a Taiwanese gun called the raysun 92.

Don't they all use the same cheap non adjustable valve.

Very similar in design, but not the same parts. If anything the raysun 92 is just a copy of existing airgun valve designs.

I preordered the Roscoe. Took it to the field and it’s only shooting 160 FPS because the piece that punctures the twelve gram is broken. Also the design is clunky and whoever makes kydex holsters is going to have their work cut out for them with this thing. It’s so big that any fabric holster just actuates the chamber lock and breaks the pistol open when you try to draw it.

dont get me started on the FS Scout.

Well that's good I'm not the only one to experience 160 FPS. Thought it was just mine. Still having fun customizing it but seeing them drop after 40 feet is really depressing.

Received mine yesterday, wow, this thing is huge, definitely cutting it down.

Arthur, Lt. head-shot P.I.C.T. Tactical since you all have a Roscoe in hand, can one of you do me a solid and measure the mag cylinders that come with it?

I'm looking for the Outer Diameter (#1), diameter of metal center piece (#2), the thickness/height of the plastic section (#3) and the thickness/height of the metal center piece (#4).

Basically want to compare against the HDR50 cylinders to see if the pouches I made will work with both or if I have to redesign for the Roscoe.

                        Appreciate the assistance!

                        HDR50
                        Outer Diameter = ~44.9mm
Metal Center Piece Diameter = ~12.3mm
                        Plastic thickness = ~13.4mm
                        Metal Thickness = ~15.4mm
