Once dialed in I plan to remove the gauges - unless you guys tell me that this is grand stupidity

Gauges strictly depend on you caring or not about optimizing your pressures. It is easy to sweet spot these based off on sound and fps but you will no doubt leave a chunk of psi on the table. Alternatively you could tune and balance the market with the gauges then remove them for aesthetics.

I think the gauges look nice, also helps to know where your HPR is set if you ever mess with the LPR

Perfect timing. I just got my first ICD and Promaster in the mail. I didn’t get nearly the deal you did but when my shop renovation is done, the Promaster is next on the list.

Myrkul youre right on the nose man, i like the simplicity and flexibility of the bushmaster platform, the promasters are nuts.

          Ya....

Definitely prefer my B2Ks, although if you can get the noid working and toss one of those 45 fittings in Promasters at least shoot nice.

So I guess PM me your address so I can send you a spare 45 fitting and some fresh Gasline?

Myrkul you're a gentleman sir but it's ok! I got the Promaster rippin' this morning! Gonna take it to my dad's house tonight and let him throw paint through it tomorrow! I ordered a bunch of 90* fittings to try and make his bushmaster trayless but we will see how that goes

Two small screws fasten the microswitch to the left grip panel and that pretty much mounts the board - I plugged the old harness in before moving it over- easy peasy- I think the LED on the Promaster only does green so programming was the same but with just a green LED instead of the orange as in the manual

Took the Promaster over to my dads to sling some paint- and after about 2 or 3 shots it was done- LPR - the one part I didn't pull apart to check out- had crumbs for a reg seal and piston o ring. Replaced the reg seal with an oring which I'm sure won't work- so now I gotta figure out what my options are

Ok- I replaced the reg seal with an oring- and now I have some pretty massive leaks from the hose going to noid (from the 90* front of the Ram)
you guys weren't lying the barbs are so touchy to any sort of pressure caused by the hose. Time to purchase some new 3/32 hose :/
I think whatever happened yesterday when I aired it up - wrecked my LP gauge to boot. I might use this Promaster as donor parts for dads bushmaster but I'm not sure just yet...

No, keep it going. These kind of posts are what make mcb interesting imo. Besides, I’m pretty sure I bought the same sellers remaining promasters so I could use this information if I run into similar issues.

How did I miss all these promaster sales?

Will do Aaron! I'm gonna need to hear what the oracles have to say about my next course of action! As of right now I'm thinking - preorder AKA LPR and order some 3/32 tubing

I used an O-ring in place of the Reg Seal- and the leak from the LPR stopped but now I have a wicked leak coming from the barb near the solenoid - I threw a new oring on the 90* barb going into the Ram - these lines are so touchy

Make sure the LPR is actually regulating with that o-ring for a seat and not just letting HPR pressure in and causing the leak at the barb. I mean, the LPR should only be outputting ~70psi anyway. Not exactly a lot of pressure in the grand scheme of things. Frankly, I got tired of limping the stock LPR along and switched to an AKA SCMIII. No regrets.

                          You need these:
                          http://www.indiancreekdesigninc.com/...cd-valve-seals

These work for both the lpr seat and for the main valve. 100% necessary. Also as mentioned in prior posts, get fresh hose. Will save you time and suffering.
