Spydarm builds and air efficiency

So this is for any of the Spyder pistol builds... What is everyone getting on their various setups? I'm on stock springs, kit's HASA, 5" (Equation USA Multiple Switch AK tip and giant bore back) barrel kit, BE 12g bucket changer, and stock valve. Hitting close to 30 shots with about 25-28 being solid with recock @ 270fps.

Does anyone have a fatty striker pistol?

If nobody has a fatty Spyder set up with Kit's horizontal ASA... I can throw one together in the name of science.

Looks like a "Predator" 40cal... I used to want one to muzzle load blowgun darts into, but then I grew up.

I think they were sold under the name Splatmatic it something like that. I also think they were 40 cal or something like that.

I never had one in my hands so I don’t know what is usable on a spyder.

So let's bring this back in... How many shots are you getting on your 12g Spyder converted pistol? 😉

Well... if you will consider stack tubed blowback as a spyder pistol then my Zeus get's roughly 25 good shots on a 12 gram at 280fps. It will shoot 30 shots at 275fps but drops off for those last few.

25 usable shots is normal ballpark area. Even the old brass Sheridan's were only capable of 20ish good shots before needing a new 12gram.

The factory produced versions of STBB pistol guns all got the same 20ish shots before needing to change out for a new 12gram.

My gen1 Azodin KP with regulator and Magna Valve gets 25 shots on a 12gram. Did a effecientcy test write up on here before, but I'm sure it's gone since the website got scrubbed.

25. I've never gotten 30 at 280fps average.

Edit: last shot at 25 is usually weak and next won't recock. Fps drops hard on last shot.

Yeah, just talking about a reliable recock. I realize that FPS will drop hard. Probably a good part of the convo to add?
(Now I need to measure FPS on all shots during my next outing!)
