I was worried about that ... The good news is that what im thinking is completely reversible ...

I do have a spare fem stab, but it seam a bit (a lot actually) overkill for a gun i may only use a few times ...
Any "aftermarket" front expansion?

CP sells an adapter that threads onto the front block and will accept all standard regs.

So here it goes:
threaded for 1/4" npt, now all it needs is an asa ...

The CP adapters are a hot commodity. They are hard to get.

So I'm gonna take an asa, cut it down and thread the back for 1/4"not and connect the 2 with a close nipple ... Might make 3D printed "sleeve" to hide the threads and call it good

i have one in red (i think red).
i think i also have an RS/RSX reg thats a direct fit and matches the look of the VS.

These work just fine. The one I have has a pin set inside, I drilled mine out to be used specifically for a VASA setup. I think mine is aluminum instead of steel.

I thought about getting one of those, but i have the parts to make one with 1/4"npt threads on top, it will be a bit tighter and larger opening than to reduce to 1/8 ...
If my stuff looks to craptastic, and i end up using the marker some, i may splurge and get one of those ...

Here is the test fit.
of course I didn't find the 1/4" close nipple ... So it will be tighter once it's complete and threaded to the proper depth ...
(Might also swap the asa for another one ... Or a cheap on/off if I found one ...)

Anyone able to trip the sear using a standard 9v? I’ve got my VS2to hold air, but I only have very old 9.6 rechargeable batteries and none will trip the sear so it won’t shoot. Want to confirm this is a battery issue before trying to buy a $20 battery for it.

My solenoid bounces every time but nothing happens and I can’t get the gun to fire. The gun is fully pressurized, I have to unscrew the front expansion chamber to depressurize.

Just out a new capacitor and it works! Now the question is did I have to bolt in before it shot and just where did it go?! If anyone needs a capacitor I’ve got a bag of 9 them.

Found the bolt in my spare parts bin! No clue why I took it out.

Nice, board should work for many more years now. I've replaced a few Caps. I also have a new solenoid, but I've never had to replace one yet, even one that looked just awful from an ebay buy.
