    AMG regulator rebuild.

Tore down the reg on the AMG I’ve been working on.
seals were sludge so I don’t know what size they might have been.

anyone know what size and type of o rings I need?

I'm not sure the sizes, but there's another piece inside you're missing. You'll have to use compressed air to blow it out (be careful).

Tbh his reg is pretty terrible. The AMG would probably work better on tank pressure.

Tried that. Can’t get below 310 with my lightest spring.

Wanted to see if I could get this going to avoid buying hpr+adapter.

They're not the most consistent at all, but they work okay when they're clean. Definitely better than no reg at all.

I can't remember the sizes off hand. I think ans might still sell the parts with orings on them.

as bad as these are, they are better than the VS series on/off regs. even maintained, they were inconsistent and would leak all the time.

on the small tip of the brass piece is a little clear-ish rubber bumper. thats the go/no go for the air. make sure you dont mess with it too much and dont lose it. if the reg is creeping, you can take it out and flip it around. but you should be fine as is.

if it leaks out the reg when its all back together, its the o-rings on the brass piece.

the spyder manuals used to be on line. are they not there anymore?

never mind, the manuals on line show the regs as a unit. and if there is a schematic, it references part numbers, not sizes.

would be a good time to but a cheap pair of calipers. any spyder branded part is probably going to be older than dirt. lol
