Ok, I could use a little MCB brain trust action here. After playing last weekend I've decided to put some kind of an optic on my EMF build. This is a dedicated FSR platform. What I noticed happening was when I missed people in games it was because I was either high or low on my shots. They were pretty spot on left to right so after digging around a bunch and figuring out crossbow optics won't work for me because I would loose the magnification functions I've decided on going with a LPVO that is first focal plane so I can more accurately gauge distances.
After days of digging around and shouldering my brother's vortex 1-6x I found that I doubt I'm going to need more than 4x. So finding options I've come across a few that I really like but wanted the MCB opinion on what you would go with and why
Option 1) 1-5x 24mm

Pros
$80 on the bay
Lighter (14.9oz)
Eye relief 4.7-4.9"
Cons
Pretty basic reticle
Longer 9.3"
Option 2) 1-6x 28mm

Pros
More detailed reticle
Shorter 7.5"
Cons
$225
Eye relief 3.4-3.8"
Heavier 16.7 oz
Since I'm not sure I'll use it past 4x I'm concerned the reticle may get a bit lost
