Guys I have to be honest- I have never been to a game that allowed FSR that didn't allow rangefinders. I use one with the Supremacy for unmatched pwrformance.

Different range finders but just the supremacy outside of them. I think there were some competitions where rangefinder were not allowed but at games with FSR no-one minds. I have also used this certain 4x32 acog clone that was great for ranging but heavy AF. With an adjustable riser it just unbalanced my rig.Comment

I get that you like the supremacy, but don't tell me you have experience with everything when you only have experience with the supremacy. You have a bias opinion because you only have 1 point of reference. You don't know that nothing else will match up because you have never tried anything else. It's the same thing that happens when new players go to the field, if the field uses tippmanns as rentals then the first marker the new players look into buying is a tippmann. It's not because they are better, it's because that's all they know.
I'm going with the G2. $300 is a lot of difference for what appears to be a different reticle over anything else. Maybe someday I'll want a supremacy but I have other priorities for that extra $300 I'd be saving. And honestly I'm not impressed with carmatech either. If they can't keep a web page working with the manual on it and don't feel the need to give players all the numbers on their optic, why should I trust they can make a good optic that will keep working past the limited warranty?

Actually I have used the Hawke scopes, holos etc and was trying to save YOU trouble. I could careless what you choose or can afford.
I keep running into people on here with a stick in their ass. I was only replying to help you make an informed decision. I wont bother again.Comment

So you're not here to actually help then?
Scroll to the top if you feel the need. I was asking opinions between 3 different options which nobody actually answered. I was curious what things people valued in their scope, I'm not looking for a sales pitch for the supremacy.
If people said they don't use anything past 3x maybe I look more into the 1-3x, if there was something about one of the reticles maybe I avoid that one etc. I don't particularly care what people bought, I care what features they find useful and which are supliferous.

I have spent a lot of time looking into sights for various emf’s I’ve had over the years. I ended up going with swamp fox 1x prism sight. I was originally looking at scopes with the supremacy being the top candidate. I borrowed a cheap 4x scope from a friend and found that when shooting long ranges I would lose sight of the target as the gun would be angled up 30 degrees.

Thanks for the heads up, that is one of my fears but obviously the supremacy managed it and the G2 I'm looking at has a similar field of view so, idk, it will either be an issue or it won't and I can just use 3x if it is an issueI have spent a lot of time looking into sights for various emf's I've had over the years. As an update to this and to give some info to anyone else who needs it
I did end up getting a supremacy, I found a V1 on the bay and paid 225 all in.
First impressions: it's fairly heavy and if you are looking for long range shooting anything past 2x is useless because the range markers go off the bottom of the reticle when you zoom past 2x. 6x is absolutely useless for actually shooting.
Carmatech really should have put the "center" of the reticle about 3/4 of the way up so that as you zoom the range markers that are lower can still be used.
Illumination on the circles is good but I wish they would have illuminated the range numbers as well, one is pretty useless without the other
For the v1 the zoom ring is really stiff
Seems built well otherwise. It's solid, nothing loose, mine has clearly been hit by a few paintballs already

I mounted mine using a 45 moa mount on a 20 moa rail. This moves the reticle up at sighting in, albeit marginally. I have a v2 I have yet to mountComment
