    Zinger's Sanchez Build Log

Now that it's officially in the mail and on it's way to my door, I feel comfortable starting this build log.

Picked up one of the Sanchez Machine Pump Kit bodies from Woouulf. Definitely going to be keeping it pump.

    EDIT:
    Final Parts List:
    - Mozak Machine THIN 86 slider frame
    - Inception Designs universal hammer
    - Palmer's Low Turbulence valve assembly
    - CP HPR
    - Inception Designs EZ On/Off
    - 10" "stock" WGP barrel

    Parts:
    - Stainless lowers kit from ACParts
    - Dye double slider (still up for debate)
    - Inception Designs HPR
    - Inception Designs EZ On/Off
    - 10" "stock" WGP barrel
    - TechT iFit Barrel System (for bore sizing and adds a few inches 😉 )
    - PB DNA Jolo Hopper

Currently in communication with ARC to do a full anno job. I'm torn between a simple clean one or two color anno to show off the milling, or going early 2000's with a crazy acid wash and splash. Once it's in hand though, I'm going to do a mock-up just to get a better feel for the looks. Any opinions?

I would 100% suggested a SINGLE slider over a double, for aesthetics if nothing else. +1 for the OG Splash
    💀 PK x Ragnastock 💀

I second this motion. I had a Dye Double Hinge (not a slider but similar pull) on a sniper before and it wasn't idea. The body is smooth so a crazy/intricate ano would look nice!

Yeah, the more I play with my single slider sniper the more I like that idea.

I don't like double sliders. Hinge triggers for real tight back block an inch from your mask, single trigger for more relaxed "rifle" style.
You don't have to worry about back blocks and beaver tails, so a 90 frame would be a bad little CQB nightmare.
What kind of game do you like to play, that is one hell of a blank canvas.

I love playing hyperball style games. Fast paced, movement, etc. I don't plan on doing a ton of big woodsball/scenario games, and this wouldn'tbe my marker of choice.

I kinda like the idea of an 86 or 90, never played with one though.

Overall, I might just leave the frame out of the anno picture, so it's "easier" to swap later if I want to try something new.

Tough call on the frame if you never used one. If I was going for a full anno job, I would want it all done, frame reg barrel and her panties to boot.

Yeah. I think y'all helped me talk myself into a single slider and full anno. Gonna chat with the guys at ARC and see what we can come up with.

Quick mock-up (double frame is a stand-in, still waiting on barrel):

        Quick update:

Got my hands on a benchmark single slider 45 frame, so that will be going on it.

Per discussions, and because I'm curious, I also snagged one of the Mozak's new slender 86 frames. That's the only thing I'm waiting on before it goes off to anno, and according to the latest FB update, should be shipping soon

Proof photos from ARC. Can't wait to get it in hand and on the field! (And yeah, I know he mocked up the hitman plate as if it was a snatch grip)

I'm probably going to set it up with the Mozak frame first.

Alright! All put together and leak tested, it's all good my friends.

              Build Details:
Sanchez Machine Pump Body Kit (non-production from woouulf)
              Inception Designs universal hammer
              Palmer's Low Turbulence/Low Pressure valve
              CP gen3 Regulator
              MozakMachine Thin 86 Frame
Inception Designs EZ On/Off ASA and T-Slot adapter

ARC did the anodizing and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! While I'm generally a fan of blue and grey tones, I've always had a soft spot for red and gold. Although a modern build, I wanted to pay tribute to all the crazy annos from back when I started playing. I had always wanted an acid wash and splashed marker as a kid, but could never afford it.

Still playing with the pump rods a bit to get them secured without binding, but overall I'm in love. This thing is light, compact, and I can't wait to get it on the field!

So, the guide rods are interesting, they don't thread into the pump handle, rather it uses a set screw to hold them in. It solves the usual binding issue of mismatched rod length, but creates a new issue. The set screw forces the guide rods upwards too far, causing binding on the body guides and pump guide. I've been experimenting with using some tape as a shim to keep the rods centered in the handle. Seems to be working.

This is one of the most beautiful jobs i've seen. Do you have any advice for a newbie who might want to take a shot at something similar?
