    Umarex T4E pump shotgun

So i just acquired an umarex t4e pump shotgun. I have watched tons of videos about them, and now i have one.

For anyone thinking about it, it handles like a real shotgun, that was tinkered with to shoot paintballs. Its a little long, but with the asa adapter for remote (takes the stock off), it would be shorter like a wrist rocker style shotty.

Its is a solid beefstick. A little heavy all metal body, but SOLID! It sounds and feels like a real shotty when you rack it. Very very milsim. It will definitely get you in trouble with cops if you whip it out at the wrong place.

Its 16 rounds in the stack, loads kind of like a real shotty, except for the little ramp they give you to help guide balls down and in. That thing is mischeviously difficult to wedge in right. Im gonna sand the side down a little for easier fit.

i got 2 of those, a rubber pull squeegee( dont use that, use a long swab), the gun, and an instruction booklet about 4 pages long. Thats it. You can find a few extras for it like the 40joule power piece, but once you go that route, its basically a riot pepperball/metal ball shooter.

Its a super solid ahnold schwarzaneggar worthy paintball shotgun. Very cool, heavy, and metal. Plus it will beef your noodly arms up the more you use it.

Does it shoot up to proper velocity? I seem to remember reading a lot of these don't shoot to velocity and aren't adjustable.

Out of the box, the 7.5 joule shoots low. You are correct that there is no factory velocity adjuster. There are Youtube videos showing how to tap the valve block to shoot at higher velocity. I have done this to my HDX. Fully removing the valve block increases the velocity too much. gives huge swings in fps between shots, and also destroys any CO2 efficiency. Reload can be slow, but it is fun to handle and shoot.

I would say its probably best utilized as a somewhat closer quarters type play than a regular marker. 250 to 260 is just a tad less powerful than a regular marker. Which kind of adds to the "style" of play you would expect with a shotgun. The big big payoff is not having a hopper or wearing a podpack/tank. Makes for vicious mobility. You can do swat rolls if you like, and its closed bolt so no dirt.

    Thrillingly heroic moves ftw

I pulled the spring and chaser out and pour the paint in from the cap at the front. you get 20+ rounds. you can rig a phantom feed gate for a speed feed. Of course you need to twist it upside down when you cock it but its even more fun that way.

I like the foregrip and the supressor add on. Where did you get the foregrip?

Standard Milsig AFG or more likely the cheaper airsoft equivalent. I did have to mount a rail to the pump handle.

I have the Sawed off shotgun one they make. Drilled a hole in the plastic restrictor they have in the valve, shoots faster now. Haven't chronoed it yet but dude on YouTube that made a demo video says it's field safe
