I recently purchased this prostock body with the hopes of building my first pump. I was hoping to get some insight on somethings to keep in mind and parts I will need to complete this build. I am getting back into paintball after an 8 year break and do not have much prior knowledge in this department. The body and barrel are all I currently have for the build. I know I will need an ASA, regulator, pump kit, frame and back block. Wondering what else I should expect to purchase for this build. If you have any parts that would work for this build let me know as well! Any advice is much appreciated!

Detent, bolt, VASA adapter and a lower tube (valve, sprint, hammer, rva, ...) should get you the rest of the way there.
and a frame maybe 😅
Also count a good assortment of hardware to hold everything together.
Might be cheaper to buy a complete pump and swap the body ... Then you have a spare or you can sell it and get a bit back ...Love my brass ... Love my SSR ... Hard choices ...

I found ANS low pressure internals to function well.
While I have not had a CCM kit on anything, I do really like the smoothness of the Autocockerparts.com Slice kits, and also the Inception Drift kits. Seconded on the delrin bolt. My PTP has a System X bolt. Camocow on here usually has plenty of internals.
Beautiful platform for a build!

Like said above, the cheapest move would be buy a complete gun and swap the bodies. But where's the fun in that? Here's how I would do it without nuking my bank account:- Freak bore the barrel to stop roll outs.
- Any bolt with o'rings removed. Stock wgp is just fine.
- Bottom tube from AC parts Gold kit. (Amazing value, basically a CCM lower, sweat spots at 300 psi every time.)
- Reg would be anything cheap / good looking. Pumps fire slowly, so reg recharge rate is a non factor.
- Frame would be personal choice. Classic sliders are great. If you have a bit more, CCM, Mozak, and Inception all make great options.
- Pump kit. Inception Genesis if money is tight. Inception drift of used CCM if it's not.

I've got a genesis pump kit I got from a member for cheap, I havent managed to buy a 2k+ cocker to use it with. The other member shaved the lip on the bottom of the front block to work on a system X body, but it should still work fine.
Ill sell it to ya for the same $25 shipped I paid if you are interested. Welcome to MCB.
Here's pics from the other members sale.2 Photos

If it’s helpful here’s an overview of pump kits. I really like the CCM EZ kits and the Slice kits and they are supposed to be releasing and upgraded Slice kit I believe.
Over the next little while I'm going to be doing a pump kit comparison looking specifically Sniper pump kits. If you have questions please let me know or comment on a post. Disclosure: I had paid for all of these kits myself, have no connection to any paintball retails or manufactures other than being a fan of the autococker

Nice looking splash body! I won't add anything about kind of parts to add, that's been covered. If I was building this out, I would go with black parts with crome parts for highlights here and there. Black frame and asa with a chrome rail and trigger shoe, black pump handle with a chrome plate or hitman and black back block with silver bolt pin...stuff like that.
Keep us posted on the progress!

Nice start on a custom build. A beavertail is the only missed part i can see mentioned. Building a gun is very personal and I personally put it to paper and picture it in my head. Take your time and purchase the parts you really want to see on the build. The old buy once , cry once motto, but you will be happier when its completed. Shop around and look at other guns for ideas. Good luck and be sure to shownus when ya get her done.
