Build Thread: "Twins, Basil. Twins." My Open Class and Stock Class Sniper Builds

I wrapped these builds up about 4 months ago, but I haven't gotten around to posting these.

This originally started as just the stock class build with a custom cut from Mozak. He had to make the OD on the NOX cut body a little larger than the standard cut to make the stock class feeds sit flush on top of the body.

Somewhere along the line I picked up a second Mozak 86 frame for future use. Then in February, Mozak posted an extra NOX body for sale. That began the open class build and I set out to make two identical snipers to cover all my recball needs.

I had these anno'd by Ruckus and I'm happy with his work. The open class pump is basically just a clear / silver anno and the stock class has a darker bronze anno that Ruckus helped me pick out.

Highlight so far has been playing IoN 2025 with the stock class sniper.

I'd like to build a gold anno Vee Twin with dual 12rd phantom feeds to complete a trio of bronze, silver, and gold snipers, but I'm going to enjoy these for a while before I go spending more money

Impactfour I usually run the 12rd feed, but I just got the cram n' jam back from anno, so I've got that on there right now to try out next weekend!

I haven't tried running it with 12g yet. Curious to see if the CCM internals can take them unregulated. I might need to throw some different springs in it.

Both are amazing looking, love the colors.

Try running the 12g regulated. I switch my S6 back and forth between hpa and 12g with very minor ivg adjustments. 12g are about 10 fps slower than hpa for me. I also have a pre2k sniper with CCM internals that I run on 12g. It is regulated and I get 35+ shots per 12g on a nice day.
