    progress!
BMC really is the absolute man!
once she comes home, off to KMDPB for a fresh coat
ASP double feed detent , cocker thread & standard freak bore, and some very clean, old school spiral porting!

Kmdpb does awesome work! Are you going with the typical grey urban camo or something spicier with some color to it? I'm a real sucker for purple urban camo

got my stuff back from BMC, couple small issues/quirks
      but overall very happy.
The porting and threading are perfect. i asked Brandon to match the angle of the front sight and its very close. more impressive, the holes are drilled so perfectly, when sighting down the barrel, i get this cool illusion where it looks like rows of straight porting.
the ASP style detent is a bit too far away from the breech so its not really effective.
the freak bore is like 1/64 too shallow. i only noticed this because the front sight ends up in a different spot depending on wether or not theres an insert in there.

Ill upload another video tomorrow but i threw everything together to day and tested out the new work.
The barrel is significantly more accurate and very very quiet.
Somehow, even in this crappy, chilly rainy weather,
The Wrath got 44 shots off a single 12ie. Ive done zero spring/powertube/velocity adjustment tuning since i got this thing and it just has amazing efficiency.
The last 3 shots were definitely lower fps but the thick shell winter paint i was shooting still broke
And when i unscrewed the bucket, there was still a small little 'puff' from the cart. maybe a check valve would be nice 😁
I expect in better conditions, 40 full fps shots is very realistic.
I did have a double feed in my testing but i blame myself for pumping a little slow/wonky.
      Lastly,
the rear sight rail doesnt really fit with the cci feed, so i chopped it down and ramped the front to clear the feedblock so its still functional. helps to clamp the body to the valve and i think it looks pretty sweet too
      KMDPB
shes headin your way next, you ANNO GANGSTER

That's going to look good with a new ano coat, thought I read somewhere that some inserts are a hair longer than others is that what's going on?

i went through a ton of mine, mix of empire, smart parts, and the stainless
            all the same 🤷

            no big deal
            still works

I'm boring some of my old, dinged up Phantom barrels (no, I'm not offering it as a service... takes me too long for y'all to want to pay for it) and I'm expecting a bit of "crush" on the insert to keep everything in place. Phantoms are different where the insert has to stick out past the threads since the leftover barrel is so thin it just peels away, but I think the point stands. I'd like my insert squeezed end to end if there's no o-ring groove in the bore.

How's sight post alignment, better with or without the insert in place?

            the sight is
removable so its clocked for the inserts(i.e. when it would matter)
its almost 1/4 turn past without an insert
        Working...
