High flow valves and regulators are the best for 12 grams on snipers. Pre 99, palmers valves and specific regs are all just a confusing mix of paintball fuddlore from people trying to do unregulated 12gram snipers.

12 grams aren’t going to dump tons of liquid co2 into your gun it freezing it up. So don’t worrying about killing seals or special regulators. Complete expansion of the gas is more important than devoluming so 99 specs are also not necessary. Palmers HT valves are just not good very over hyped product. Trust me I’ve tried everything listed and it just doesn’t beat a normal sniper with an adjustable reg (I’ve had amazing results with CP and ccm regs) and a good mid pressure high flow valve. 35 consistent shots on a 12 gram any day of the week

25 consistent fps shots on a 12gram is perfect.
you have plenty of room to change a 12gram and reload 10 rounds without drop off. Anything past 25 is just for fu, tinkering and saying you did it in my opinion. So you know every other 10rd tube reload its time to change the 12gram. Im terrible at counting shots and will shot until drop off and get messed up....lol. I tried regged 12 grams 20 years ago and it didnt work well for me, so I prefer striaght unregged gas for 12 grams.

I'm going down this rabbit hole right now on my pre-2K stock class Sniper. So far, I'm up to 28 shots on a 12 gram using a Palmer Stabilizer, an Inception Designs valve, and an Inception spring kit. I could probably leave it alone as-is, but...

Update: 34 1/2 shots on a 12 gram at 280 fps. I think that's about as much as I can squeeze out of this setup without falling even deeper down the rabbit hole.

A lot of the legwork is being done by that Inception valve and a stiff valve spring to eliminate any potential bounce. When my valve opens, it slams shut quickly to minimize CO2 waste. I got the reg down to 350 psi too. With a good underbore with a .680 PWR insert, every shot right up until the 34th was at velocity.

The difference between the Inception valve and the stock valve in my testing was night and day. I was getting less than twenty shots early on with the stock valve, if it even fired. Once I put in the Inception valve, everything started falling into place, allowing me to really focus on efficiency.

I’ll admit that while I’m not the biggest fan of AI, I found that when given the exact parameters of my setup and the parts I had available, I was able to use it to provide the guidance I needed to get the most efficiency I could without a great deal of trial and error.

AI has been becoming more and more an annoyance with verbal communication/phone AI/robo calls. I've blocked personally 50+ spam calls(all different numbers) for the same company.

You’ll get no argument from me there. I do have to admit though that when it comes to complex tasks like programming and modeling fluid dynamics, it does a pretty decent job - not perfect, but decent.
      Working...
