Hi Everyone - first post here so apologies in advance if I'm violating any forum-specific conventions.
I'm newly in possession of a Sheridan K-Series. It's in great shape...except for one little thing. As you can see in the pictures - when I put a 12oz in, the cap will not screw in all the way. If I pull the trigger, it will still pierce the 12oz, but as you might expect that immediately leads to a dumping of all the CO2 in the 12oz. (Note: I have a bunch of Sheridan products, but all Blue Streaks or HBs, so this CO2 and paintball marker thing is a completely new field for me.)
The threads aren't buggered up, so long as there's no CO2 capsule in there...the cap closes up just fine.
My guess is that something is assembled improperly.
(There should be a chorus of "oh, wow, hey...look at the newbie genius with the Sherlock Holmes intuition!)
Before I take it apart (no manuals yet) I want to ask the experts what they think.
Any ideas?
What should I look for? Anyone have a .pdf of a K-Series (I think this is a KP-3?) manual to help out with?
Thanks!
