I used some metric brass tubing for my upper tube on my PMI Pursuit build - it's 23mm OD, 21mm ID, which fits almost perfectly over the CF tube.

If I add a tip I'm going to use a piece of thinwall 3/4" OD brass tube I got from Online Metals last year - it mic'ed at .685 ID and my largest XL insert is .684 - and I'll slide some 21mm OD tubing over it to protect it a bit, probably spiral port it to keep everything quiet.

And the reason I bought the tube in the first place... my Nelspot. The feedtube setup I built uses some 23mm tube soldered together, a small piece of 21mm tube inset inside with a 3dprinted end plug and feedplug from Alexndl, and the CF tubing. I added the PGP sightrail and beadsight to class it up a little - gotta have some brass in there, after all. 😉

Would a DW fibur x-8 not work for some reason?

I'm not saying don't build your own, that is a pretty cool barrel you have. I'm sure much cheaper than the DW as well

For several reasons no, it will not.

And yes, it's much cheaper... I paid $20 for the tubing and the rest of the stuff needed I've had for a while from another project.

Probably. I didn't want to mess around that - CF dust is sorta bad for you - so I used the brass bits for that part. The CF tube is two separate pieces joined together by the brass section. Assembly is much easier that way as well.

Thanks Jordan for pointing out my lack of paying attention to what I read.I should of looked a little longer at the picture, I might have figured it out. You really do build some cool shooters. Did you print the 007 pump handle, would like to find one for mine?

Cal440 thank you sir! That is a stock 007 pump handle, I don't have a 3d printer and rely on the patience and generosity of a couple of members, who do, to provide me with all my 3d printed components I use.

Wish I did, but then again that sort of tech stuff is not my strong suit. I'm much better suited to manipulating physical materials in real time.

Finished off the barrel tip this morning and epoxied it in an hour ago - I'll test it out tomorrow.

I wanted to try out a different porting pattern as well - I went with a dual spiral in a tighter curve than I usually do.
