Luxe X problem?

So I bought a used Luxe X, I used it for the first time this past weekend. Last game of the day, 1000psi in tank and 60% battery life, I started getting shoot down. One ball at a time was fine but any sustained fire I would get massive shoot down and I noticed with each shot a bit of air would blow out around the eye cover.

My tank reg is a PH Haymakr 500 set to 700psi output, stock internals. Beginning of the day I was at 270-280ish over the chrono, there was no audible leak or anything.

Just a bunch of shoot down and that weird air coming from around the eye cover, what could be the problem?

Did you try filling it back up and replacing the battery to see what it did? I would say it might be just too low for it at that 1k mark. I've had reliable markers act up when the air gets to that point.

You sure your tank gage is good. They break all the time and are far from accurate.

If air is blowing out of the eye covers it’s likely an inner can oring. I would rebuild all the orings the bolt rides on. This would happen on the older luxe and it would blow the eye covers off at times that’s what they added latches to them.

I use to know what one specifically but it’s been a min since I worked on a Luxe. I think it’s the SFT oring that causes this problem.

It could just need a lil grease or a good cleaning if you haven’t serviced it in a while.

Pretty sure the gauges is correct, fill station say 4500 psi when I fill as does the gauge on the bottle. The Luxe X and TM40 have a different bolt design then the one you pictured. I think ill inspect the orings I've circled in red and replace as needed. You could be right it could just need a bit of grease.
