This thread is awesome. I have a love/hate relationship with this family of markers but I keep buying more of them.

Did you ever have any luck with keeping an electro version alive even with a new solenoid cap?

I’m looking into picking up an extcy with a leak, assuming it’s the solenoid cap and wondering if it’s worth attempting a repair on it.

I have 7 meched markers from the Ion through Extcy family. It's safe to say that I love them. They are my main platform for game usage. That said, my journey into trying to revive dead solenoids was a dark time that I would rather put from my mind. As smav hosts, they are very close to perfect for me.
