Leak when the tigger is held from the velocity adjustment. Normal ? Very slight leak.

I never hold down the trigger on mine when shooting. I can give it a try next chance I getting, if someone doesn’t get back to you before then.

I couldn't tell you why that's happening, but it would either be coming from the piston oring or the overpressure seal.

Well yes there will be a little leak on a trigger pull and is only a problem if it doesn’t go away. It not really meant to be held down.

that velocity adjustment is not a only doing that, it a relief valve using a dual stage set screw(1/8 for the inner one) meant to bleed pressure in excess of 350psi.

‘’Insert a 1/8” wrench through the Velocity Adjuster Set Screw (S) and into the Regulator Relief Set Screw (V) and turn it slowly counterclockwise only until air/CO2 begins to escape through the Relief Valve. Then turn the set screw slowly back clockwise only until air/CO2 stops escaping, setting the relief pressure. NOTE: Do not turn any further clockwise which would set it higher than 350 psi.’’

Try turning your velocity down and see if it does the same thing. I'm thinking it's that's over-pressure system as well

Just turning the velocity screw down did that, but is it also normal that there’s a slight puff of air that comes out of that area with every shot? There’s no leaking, but every time I pull the trigger, there’s like a tiny tiny little puff of air that comes out of that screw. So much that I can smell the nitro.

Yes it mentioned in the manual that there will be a ‘leak’ at every shot in that area.

And yes you did build it for quite compact, I do find it a little ‘weird’ removing it ‘magfed’ option lol.

I really did it just to see if it was possible. To drill the reach block add a feed neck and close up the bottom hole. It was more of a challenge to to make it work with a hopper.
