East Coast Angel (ECA) won't return my Angel A4 Fly

Punisher made a point of keeping gear, not working on it and then lying about whether or not he got your email. He had screwed a lot of people before I sent him my gun to be worked on. He pulled that crap on me and I told him I had just returned from the war and was to be stationed about 11 hours from his house. I involved the IC3 (internet police) and told him he has until I land to finish my gun or by God I will come take it and every other gun he stole. After threatening him he took me seriously and I took it all the way with the Internet police and showed everyone else how to do it perhaps someone needs to do the same with this guy. He got it done and refunded me. I’m not sure how many other people followed my lead and got their stuff back from him.

I remember people threatening to come
to his house & he just was like “bring it on” but I don’t think anyone involved the police.

Brad could use the same kind of treatment as Punisher's. Someone(s) in that neck of the woods should make it happen. However, Brad is a wanna-be hardass and won't likely back down as easily.

Living where he is living doesn't make a lot of candy asses, I will say that.
The best plan for those involved in this would likely be to take it up with the law/court. I cannot see a situation with someone showing up at Brad's door as going well for anyone.

Small update, according to a FB post, Brad sold all of what he had, including markers and parts, to someone else. Buyer didn't know that included customers guns and they are working to return them to the original owners. Don't know anything beyond what's in the post, but firm believer in documenting this kind of stuff somewhere beyond FB where it would be lost forever.

If I remember correctly Ryan from Curated ended up with ECA’s lot of Angels. Not knowing they were stolen when he bought the lot. But he returned many to their rightful owners.

It’s why every time someone cries about Curated selling stuff on eBay, I remind them he did right by a lot of people from this incident. It’s definitely something worth remembering the next time someone’s feeling butt hurt he bought something (in my experience) at a fair price and listed it higher.

To me these are two separate things, yes he did right by a handful of players but also one of the obstacles getting in the way of players embracing paintball is high prices. He is on both sides of that coin

I had a whole novel typed up, but I’d just be echoing what I always say about Curated, which in summary is to say, I find his business practices to be fair and everyone who bitches and moans later needs to find a hobby. I would be happy to go into detail on a more appropriate thread.

Respectfully, I think it’s ridiculous to suggest he ask more questions. I’ve never once, in any sale, asked the seller if a lot was stolen… have you? Has anyone? Hell, I’ve never even asked about the history of sales transactions and I’ve never been asked on an item.

Most importantly, I think it’s a huge bummer no one took it upon themselves to go to this guys house.

I have no horse in this race, was just curious. In terms of Brad & Curated I think it’s the difference between an unethical and ego-fueled businessman and an opportunistic capitalist. One is outright shitty and one is more ambiguous, though I do agree massive price hikes hurt the community as a whole. I have no real issue with Curated, but I won’t be buying anything from him either.
