Also getting down the feel and rhythm of pumping/pulling the tirgger without auto-trigger is satisfying. Can let off some pretty quick shots.

I do not think I have ever shot a player out using AT. I stopped using it long ago.

If your pump has both a return spring and an autotrigger, and especially if it has some kind of shortened-stroke pneumatic assist, aren't you really playing with a semi-auto in which you've simply transferred what is effectively the trigger pull to your other hand?
