Who do you market this to?

Once you tell your 3 friends that "I'm going to shoot some porno" the joke is over. No reason to buy a second case

Out of touch Paintball Industry people in a meeting....

"What we need to do is market towards the teenage demographic, we need to have things be lude, crass, and downright edgy. Let's make a paint and call it something that every teenage boy enjoys. We need more skulls flames tribal tattoos and other things that Target their demographic perfectly is there anything available in the form of rap rock still? What about an e celebrity with a sketchy background and misogynistic tendencies that'll do we need him as a brand promoter!! Wait he's taken by another brand let's get that guy that wields two pistols that has a creepy Uncle vibe, yeah you know the guy that guy he's perfect for our new brand!"

I feel like the marketing people in paintball are cast offs from every other industry. Like the people who thought “New Coke” was a good idea. It’s like they are stuck in the 1980’s for marketing.

And I would argue it really hasn't worked.

Sp did it the largest but they also sponsored half of the pro teams out there. Without tourny wins I doubt the T&A alone would have gotten them far

You have to remember that a good chunk of the money in paintball is coming out of a parents wallet.

If paintball were more of a 18+ crowd then sure, T&A it up, look at motocross for example but there are lots of families in paintball.

It hasn't not worked. Lots of paintball players are high school age spending an allowance or McJob money on what they want. I can't see this catching on and lasting but it is no worse than what has been tried before.

I always wondered why the previous owner put "Porn" on it. All I could figure it was so you could joke and say "I shot porn all day"

Let's be realistic. If every ball is labeled in T&A this would be a huge success for bachelor/bachelorette parties, college parties, parties in general. That's just a bunch of folks out having fun with paintball as the avenue of fun.

I can't tell you how many phallic devices I see wandering the streets the night before a wedding. This is just the cherry on top of the cream.

Back when HPA tanks were new and still ungodly expensive, I found (and bought) a used one super cheap at the local proshop. Some knucklehead had drawn the words "masturbation is not a crime" on that tank.

No way. If all they ever did was sell this paint to bachelor/ bachelorette parties, and let's say they managed to sell to every single party that wants to do paintball for the party, they would still be losing money. That's a nich market within a nich market

But that would also require all those parties to A) know the paint even exists and B) pre order ahead of time because as we already talked about, it's really doubtful fields will stock this

And then at the end of the day, its a lot of work for a 1 line gag joke

You might as well bring a sharpie and write "porn" on a few paintballs and shoot them, same joke, a lot less work
