To finally complete this. Almost every part is brand new, all the black is tumbled and matches, the body is a 1 off CCM series 5 that bill or whoever was screwing around with these in like 2005 made. I missed them back when whoever from CCM had them on ebay after I tried to haggle the price down (he just said nah nevermind I aint selling them) and finally got my hands on this one in parts. It was almost complete but I wanted to make it all that it could be.
Thanks guys! It really took about a full year longer to put together than I thought it would. Originally I was just going to get the HPR and the pump it, because it came with a buncha purple parts but not quite enough. Then I was told I would have to wait for the pump kit in gloss purple for an indeterminate amount of time because of the semi custom nature of any polished parts from CCM now and also the special color. So then I figured I might as well order ALL the purple parts brand new and sell the used ones, so that everything matches, so it ended up sitting in a box for way longer than I expected. I just hope it doesn't wind up with someone who parts it out. If I could use "kragle" and keep the thing stuck together without ruining it, I would.
Didn’t get this in the mail, but a friend left it on my desk in the office…he finished my barrel for my single shot phantom. Can’t wait to get it home to check it’s sound signature and see how the paint flies
Nothing beats ANGEL classic threads. Its the most common high end thread that has nearly zero resale value today, so its quite a joy shopping for barrels because it was the most elite gun at the time so all kinds of barrels are out there in those threads, neglected.
Another Thunder Cat. Bought it for my buddy who enjoyed shooting mine last weekend. Tore it down, cleaned it up, reassembled and aired it up. Works great! He doesn’t want to spend much so this thing is going to remain bone stock.
