Fdm prints are going to be very weak for conventional ego/empire feed necks fyi...
More so with pla.

FDM printed Emek bodies are used all the timeβ¦ are those just for show? Iβm honestly curious π
As for PLA, itβs just for prototyping. Final bodies will be in PETG, ABS, ASA, or I may try my hand at Nylon. Have some weed whacker string to try out after I dry it.

Typically they have the pals style neck which is chunky or a sketchy warranty from the seller that he will replace it if you break it.

An Etha in a box......
- No Oops
- No Barrel
- No frame screws
- Dead battery in the frame
- NO PADDING
- Cost: $42.00 shipped (I was right the 1st time, $41.82 total with $13.37 shipping and $3.45 tax)
- Condition: Surprisingly, all functions seem to work. Eyes detect, board responds to trigger and eyes, solenoid clicks, won't know complete status until I can clean it up,
replace seals, rebuild the reg, and add air. I'll find an Oops for it (but any t-slotted asa should work) and a barrel (AC threads).

Took it apart, cleaned and re-greased, set the board to factory, the reg as well. Aired up and had to tighten the solenoid mounting screws to correct a leak. Shoots fine, eyes are working correctly, found out the detents are missing, currently chronos at 280-285fps. I have a spares kit coming in, and will replace all the seals to start fresh. Still need to get an ASA, got plenty of Cocker barrels, need detents and a feedneck clamp.

Oooooh now that's really fun, I've got big plans for making this single shot convertible to stick feed and constant air. I'll see if I have the time and follow through this winter

Impactfour JeeperCreeper has a clip-on feed tube that he developed for his single shot brass (see pics and thread https://www.mcarterbrown.com/forum/p...s-brass-thread )

I'm quite a fan of his work, he did a bunch on my first pgp. I'm hoping to try out my hand at some brass work like brazing and 'fabrication' this winter, but I'm planning to build essentially the same thing, plus a few other bits and bobs
