I love seeing those "boxed" special-editions. If/when I ever get the Duke properly underway, I want to make up a display case like that. Fancy wood, green felt, find some anodizer that can do a "gun blue" tone to the anno...
Xemon: I love that thing! One grip and sear, and linked hammers, I assume? If you didn't link them, and came up with a funky trigger mechanism, you might be able to get them to fire sequentially rather than simultaneously. (Unless that's already your plan, in which case I'll shut up now...)

Doc.
I linked all shears with the idea of making it sequential/adjustable ... But that think is so hard I broke my carbide bit. I then brought it to our shop where the "machinist" blew 2 carbide bit and dulled an endmill trying to drill those things ... All we managed to accomplish was those little divets ... So I hope glue and pinched will hold the shears together ...
I feel bad showing my monstrousity next to all those amazing builds ...

BrickHaus, yeah, they are super well made. The pump is rock solid and the step down back bottle design makes it the only back bottle Nelson I will shoot! I got lucky and scored the one pictured in the last breakdown picture. Freedummy had rescued it from the wall of a Canadian paintball store, and got everything ship-shape, created an extra set of "HPA" bored out power tubes, and modified the front frame screws to have fishing line "fingers" coming out of the end to act as anti roll outs, so it can shoot ANY modern paint. Good to go for another 30 years!

I know what I should build next: a double VM-68.
Just like the 'Twin, one body with two barrel tubes.
Give it one of the old ThunderDave twin-20-ounce kits and a pair of 310-round Dominator "Commander" loaders, and there you'd have a manly gun.
Take it to the field and tell players it's a challenge- they have to play three back-to-back speedball games with it, no strap or support harness, and get at least one elimination per game to win a prize.

What you mean this thing. Still wrapping up some items. Like finding my missing barrel in my paintball stuff. Finishing feed hoses. And shooting riot.Originally posted by RiotThis thread needs more cougar20th and Jordan ..
Anyway this is a dual minimag. I designed the rail hopper mount and trigger frame. The bodies are XMT Carbon warp but I commissioned him to do 10 bodies with a carbon I supplied. I like to call it camo carbonLast edited by cougar20th; 02-05-2022, 07:16 PM.Comment
