I have trouble remembering where my gear is! I use stickie notes, calendar reminders, maps, diagrams, and a Grandaughter to try to keep track of it all....

I'm convinced you are never too old to play paintball.

Twice since November, I have played with an 80 year old dude who drives over to my local field from Louisiana every couple of months or so. When he isn't visiting us, he plays every weekend at a field near his home. If that guy can get out and play, no one is too old.

Damn right. You can play at any age.

I'm turning 47 in a few weeks. I don't mean to brag, but most of the youngsters have a hard time keeping up with me. Having a mini-gym at home really pays off.

The thing that always gets me is when other players have hot dogs, pizza or other junk food for lunch, all washed down with a copious amount of soft drinks. All the while, I stick to nuts, fruits and water. It gives me an edge while their digestive system is processing all that when we resume playing.

I will admit though that once the day is over, yeah, it's steak and beer time.

        I'm digressing again, ain't I?

I'm not sure it makes me "too old" ... But I am usually the only one who don't have face de book or other social media presence when I hit the field (except here and one other forum).

Honestly, you're better off. I hate social media, yet I'm on it, every single day.

I have a FB account for buying and selling stuff. I have no “friends” there and have posted no pics to my profile. I left years ago when I realized I was the product being sold, not the customer. The misinformation, hate, and general trashiness has overshadowed the excellent things about social media for me, and this from a guy who started a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit paintball association on FB.
