I'd NEVER use a old double horizontal style pack nowadays. Those things are waaaay too wide and stick out like a sore thumb unless your hiding in the bushes playing woodsball. I actually shot out a guy a couple times last time I played who was using one on a hyperball field, and each time I was targeting his pod pack because that's what stuck out by a inch or two from his cover. In paintball, like the bedroom, it's all angles and inches. It's even more true if your playing against skilled people. However, I'd totally rock a old single wide horizontal 4-5 pod stack pack, especially in tiger stripe.

      Yes, they are trash.

What you need is a joyride capless harness.

I don't understand the appeal of capless stock class rigs. Isn't it faster to just flick the lid off with your thumb than to make sure you don't spill anything between the pack and the feed?

I've tried a few different stock class setups, my favorite has always been wearing a simple five tube bracelet on both arms. I feel like KISS equipment goes well with stock class.

I never liked the capless either. My favorite setup was one of those elastic Allen shotgun shell stock holder things pulled over a WGP wire stock, with an iiSports wrist holder for 12ies.
