    Cocker Valve Issue

CORRECTION - was an empire valve not inception. Have the empire valve in my other pump.

Tried to play with my Empire Sniper yesterday and it’s blew a massive leak, which I thought was the valve o-rings. While cleaning I noticed chunks of white plastic falling out of the marker. Took it apart to discover this:

Is the valve pin knurlled and not threaded to retain the cup seal? Odd.

Time to find a new Empire cup seal. All the other "cocker" cup seals and valve stems I've seen are threaded

Seems like an opportunity for some 3d printed magic for a TPU or SoftPLA replacement.

superman, have you seen this issue before with the ID valve?

I have no clue and I have a brand new 11/16 ID valve I wanted tu use for a project, now I am worry it will not last long...
One of the thing I saw on mIne was the 4 point around the cup seal seem to be draging on the lower tube wall of my trilogy. I was thinking sanding them to prevent binding issue.

This has barely been used either. Must have been a flaw in the plastic. My Karni pump has an ID valve and worked great yesterday. No issues at all over multiple rounds.

I have installed a ton of these and never seen that happen.
        That is wild!

Send an email to sales@inceptiondesigns.com with the pictures. I am sure they will replace it.

I am pretty sure that is an empire valve stem not the inception valve stem. I want to say I have seen maybe 1 have that happen.

the inception one should be fine.

Ah. I may have mixed up which valve is in which marker! My bad. Going to update my thread to correct this

Here’s a stock cup seal, so confirmed this was a stock valve. Thanks superman for catching that.
