Load up gear night before. Make sure the ice packs are in the freezer for when i get home. Have a very light breakfast (usually a couple rice cakes with a little peanut butter) Drink plenty of water and pack as much as I can. And then generally I have a couple cups of tea on route to field. Lastly if my leg injuries have been acting up I will on rare occasions start day with some pain meds to try and mitigate swelling as much as I can.

have everything cleaned up n packed night before. day of make myself and the ol lady breakky and watch clips from old 90s games, Tarantino movies and Full Metal Jacket/Platoon/Apocalypse Now, blast Zeppelin/Alice in Chains/Janes Addiction and thrash metal while i scream along on the drive in, comedy podcasts (cumtown/scuffed realtor/perfect guy life) on the way home.
