Been a busy couple days on the local Craigslist and added a few more guns. Just picked up a pink and black Empire Sniper missing a bolt (and I sold my spare bolt to Jordan a little while ago) and an Gen 1 Empire Axe. And yesterday I bought by good loner Sniper with Oracle Bolt, shock tech ball defend and a MacDev Shift barrel kit.

Sniper has the typical pump handle stick and the missing bolt.

I’ve never owned an Axe before so I’ll have to see if I can get it up and running. Might be a good candidate for a Walzmas gun if it checks out okay. Anyone have any tips of what to watch of on an axe? Also going to have to figure out how to get tape residue off the barrel. Someone wrote “Bonnie” and covered it with clear tape down the barrel and over all the porting.

The black Prostock seems to be in pretty good condition. Has been sitting for a while and is sprung to feel like you’re getting kicked by a mule.

For the axe, lube it and see what happens. Throw a few drops of oil in the asa. According to empire, the regs are not serviceable by anyone but them. Technically you can service it, it's not easy and you need a few specialty tools, typically they are pretty robust though.

If you need o rings, order from empire, if I remember right they are some weird custom size

Took the bolt out and looked okay and was even lubed. Battery actually worked and the solenoid clicks, which is always a good sign.

I'm in love with that pink sniper, wow.

The axe is pretty simple, I've never owned one and the one that I did work on I just played with for a few minutes and it started working. I know a lot of people seem to make them no shooty because they mess up the dwell but anyone on MCB should be able to sort one out without any real difficulty.

My daughters will be very excited about the pink sniper as well. The anno is pretty nice on it, better than the axe which has a little fading. It didn’t come with extra barrel backs unfortunately but I have a Ressi barrel kit kicking around.

Is it an Ion reg on the 2k3 prostock?
Check the pressure its running at, it might be the cause of the weird spring force
the body have been milled to have the clamping feedneck?

Not sure what reg is on it. I have a gladiator kicking around if it needs changing. Haven’t aired it up yet. The springs feel heavy just pumping it without air, especially compared to my other snipers.

Someone I dont remember the name here use to sell super low pressure spring kit that would make the pump stroke super smooth
Not sure up to which pressure Ion reg feed but it could work amd make a nice sniper

Mine usually is as well. The pink guns actually came from an airsoft place. Sold a guy an air tank and he mentioned these two guns and an air tank. I told the guy I’d take the guns and he could keep the air tank. He was nice enough to pick up the gear and bring it to me. He really wanted the tank.

Dead ringer here: The latest add on CL in my area is "ADVENTURE PACKAGE" without pictures but explains that its a 98c with a tear drop barrel and 20oz CO2 and they want.... $300.

That's surprising, that's a ANS color scheme and they did pretty cheap annos. I have a blue one and while the Anno isn't bad, its nothing great either

Tested the Axe out with what little air I have left. Works perfect. I haven’t shot an electro in a long time. It’s vert light and very quick. And then I remember how much paint costs....
