We had some red and blue valken MI-7 masks that had a over the top head strap as well as the normal around the back strap that worked excellent for the kiddos.

Doubt you can still find them new though, as we got ours like 7 years ago.

The red and blue ones are the MI-3. I think they use the same molds as the MI-7; they just come only in red and blue and with single pane lenses.

Back when I was doing research for the fields I managed the MI-7 traditionally was the best “kid sized” mask.. we always kept about 10 of those to the side for kids that had issues with our normal rental masks. But I agree with the post above me.. they really did amazing when they came with the top strap as well

At my home field, the standard rental mask is a JT Premise, but they also keep a number of V-Force Armor masks for people with smaller heads. Those seem to work reasonably well for younger kids. You can also find some with an additional strap over the top of the head that helps keep them from sliding down.

From my own experience, if you replace the foam on a JT mask such as a Proshield, the newer replacement foam is much firmer and helps maintain a tighter fit.
