not i. but it sure would be a shame if that number somehow became very busy. or there was a way to make owning it more expensive than usual. that would be pretty ironic justice.

Is there a secret handshake I need to know to get him to answer a question on eBay? Tried to contact him about a week ago, nothing yet

He’s really bad about interacting with customers on eBay. I can’t recall the number of times I’ve messaged him about items he’s listed with no response at all. I eventually quit trying.

If you’re buying from him, just know that his listing descriptions are basic at best, and often inaccurate, and that whatever he pulls from a marker or finds in a box/gearbag is what you’ll get.

If you know what you’re doing and how to tech your own stuff, and you need parts for older markers and you don’t mind paying more for internal parts to repair what he sells you, then he has a lot of items that could be useful. However, just know that if you’re looking to buy from a source that provides accurate and informed descriptions based on a thorough inspection of the items being sold, you’ll probably want to go with another seller.

Curated is a scalper... Plain and simple.

No one likes a scalper and hopefully you won't need to use them...

But what you gonna do when the Mrs. just decided she wants to go see the Stones and its a week before the show.

This guy is in business with selfish motivations.
Hes not here to participate and contribute to the culture and community. He is not acting with the brotherly intentions we expect from ourselves and eachother when our guns and gear change hands. He doesnt care about the effort that goes into making all the parts of a build work together. It will be indifferently dismantled, chop-shop style and go to market with a price tag that rubs your face in it. He wants to buy cheap as possible and vastly mark up prices, beyond reason, with the least respect required in regards to "the customer". He doesnt care about the folks taking cheap, old, unwanted guns and gear and doing the work to find affordable parts to restore them back to glory. He just wants to exploit desperation and a scarce supply.
Thats not what paintball is about.
          Thats not a "great person".
Thats the behavior of a degenerate parasite

I'm of two minds on this guy.
On the one hand, when I've made reasonable offers on unreasonably-priced gear, more often than not my offers have been accepted.
On the other hand, my eBay search results are constantly filled with stuff like this:

Now the real question is, how do we get rid of the hundreds of listings of pickup truck tail lights that keep getting filed under "paintball"?
It feels like there's as many pickup truck taillight auctions as there are actual auctions for paintball gear on eBay right now.

what i've been doing is reporting the listings as fraudulent and including several links to different legit stores' sales postings, or manuals to the paintball marker or product of concern, to ebay and then ebay will rule on whether they want to take the listing down or not.

The more people report the ads, the faster they move

Dang, I wish I could sell my tac one stuff for half that price. Scalpers gunna scalp. Those prices are wild, but people must be buying.

There's threads about it on reddit and the consensus among the people who overpaid and got a bad deal is that "it's part of the paintball experience and you should learn to deal with it or make more money", wildly enough.

So if I’m lucky and he’s in a good mood I may be able to get that used Phantom pump handle for $50?

Guys let's be real about it....

eBay is basically a sewer in terms of buying and selling paintball equipment.

I list things on there for unreasonably high prices just because someone out there is going to pay that much for it. If you look at the way things sell there people just buy high it's almost unexplainable.

That also being said I feel like the quality of what's being sold on there is basically not existent it is either overhyped overpriced or or clueless people just trying to make profit.

I’ll add that he pays up when buying versus resellers who snipe low and sell high. I’ve sold him a number of things and he paid asking or made reasonable offers.

MCB does a lot of marketing for this guy. Now we’re helping him avoid eBay fees. Probably more links here to his sales than the rest of the interwebz combined.

My view is... the ebay seller/mcb member would post them here, themselves. If they wanted them posted here.

I tend look at things differently from some people.

I don’t really care for how he manages his inventory, or that he doesn’t respond well (if at all) to any questions, but he has a lot of stuff so its kind of hard to avoid him sometimes.
I didn't want to be the one to say that.. its clearly all about profits. He listed an FBM body as a "Rostock" earlier.. its almost as if zero effort is put it.. no description..wrong titles..way off prices.. no response via message unless you've purchased items in the past..

I'll take his money but I will not give money. He and his chronies are banned from a FB group I run. Fuck em, they buy up everything as soon as it gets listed by the community to be parted and prices at crack head Price prices. The community as a whole would be in a more healthier and better place if he never came around.

Hate to imagine all the beauties he's turned into bits and pieces. I bought a couple autococker pieces before I smartened up. Definitely overpaid.
