I run one of the new hk army 15\4500 tanks. I get roughly 200 shots on a stockish automag with a freak barrel. I start really worrying about air after 200 so I slow way down shooting.

Thanks for this very scientific experiment! Sounds like if I'm not slinging paint down the field a 26/4500 is a minimum.
ANS has a Sicariis 35/4500 for ~$180 which is pretty pricy but I like how narrow it is, I can really get a good tuck on the tank.Last edited by hunter47; 08-12-2026, 11:27 AM.Comment

The 35/4500 rock for pump/mech play.
I prefer the 48 or 50/4500 because I don't have long arms so a still get a good tuck and play tight with a 48ci but when my tanks are officially dead I'll probably switch to 35's. I get easily 2/3 games off a 48 using mech and not being conservative on shots.
On pump that could be 8 games

I run a 50rnd Jolo, and three 50 round pods on my Emek with a 15\4500. Only once have I ran out of air before I ran out of paint and that was when we were only getting a little over 3k fills towards the end of a hot summer day. You could probably bring 250 out on the field and get away with it as long as you're getting a real 4500 fill.
It is the absolute best way to play. You have some follow up shots and a string of 4 or 5 real quick ones if you need it but you're still forced to play smart. It also weighs about 5 pounds total and requires no batteries.Comment
