It's one of the neatest gun designs imo, just doesnt really function well... its design needs to be revisited

I was gonna say this. I have a few and bring one to play with occasionally, I keep getting asked what kind of autococker it is.....

Yeah people see the back block and think they are autocockers. I built one out a year or so ago and it shot great. I have owned several 2.0's and never really had trouble with them other than cup seals.

I guess any blowback. Its just cool knowing that it doesn't have a regulator, it has like two O rings, and it shoots fine.

Any rental gun when everyone is playing with rental guns. I have gone to fields by myself and bring nothing but my mask and just play with the rental crowd and have had a blast. You deal with the same issues they do and can forget everything else and just play for fun.

I would bring a functional barrel though, I mean...I'd just have to!

Brass eagle Samurai, 12in eagleworks (rainmaker) barrel, egg, hpa. Don't knock it till you try it .
A smaller tank may be better XD

I expect incoming rounds for this but PPS Typhoons especially Nastys. I own and have owned both and have had multiple issues with all of them. But there such works of art and have so much character that I always end up with at least one in the stable.

I feel like the jank is well endorsed in PPS guns. I've owned 4 of them and they have about a 50% success rate-o-jank

I'd have to say PGP. It's hard to use and makes playing against modern markers difficult, but it is so fun especially when everyone is limited paint.

One of the most fun paintball outings I've ever had was while visiting Las Vegas. I had my PGP and elbows and 10 round tubes. A few local kids were there that were on the field's sponsored team and I convinced them to take adapters and a few 10 round tubes each. I think I had a couple of guns that they used, but they may have also just put the elbows on their space guns, I don't recall.

Regardless, the 4 of us had just a few tubes of paint each.

The shenanigans that ensued were awesome. Almost a different game.

I get weird looks when I do it, but stick feeds in space guns (or any other gun for that matter) are an absolute blast. People don't like to give up their hoppers, but if you can convince them it usually works out well.

I agree, limited paint usually only makes games more fun. I rarely run larger than a 100 round hopper, and typically use ammo boxes on all of my guns: my ego, my 98, my prolite, my pumps.

I have used stick feeds in the past but I've found that when playing against semis or space guns I am just constantly swapping tubes and it gets in the way of the game.

If everyone were using them, or against new players though it's definitely doable.

I haven't had the privilege to shoot a lot of the markers I find interesting but weird. I love my Talon and Cockers, but I wish I had a Nova because they seem janky but like they'd be fun to shoot. Another on my list of "looks fun but needlessly complicated" is a Sandridge.

I agree. Modified RMs are fine, but factory stock ones are pretty bad, lol. But so much fun.

smg 68, I mean as much as I love going round and picking up orange stripper clips from the entire field for half an hour after the game ends...
but oh my god are they fun to shoot

Also, literally any painball revolver, I mean functionally about as effective as a chocolate teapot, but oh boy does running around reeling off shots feel fun.

And that shotgun that fires 6mm paintball bbs from dummy 12g shells and ejects the shells when you rack it, best of both worlds on that, both functionally useless, *and* having to run round a field and pick up spent shells for a good half an hour after every game, only used one once but its something I'll remember for a long time for sure.

The Umarex pistol was terrible but fun at the same time. 12gram, 6 rounds and had to be real careful with the extra cartridges so you didn't knock out the 50 cal paintballs before you used them. But man you can run with that thing and it shot fairly accurately. If you had to change a 12 gram on the field you had to (should) dry fire 10 shots to get it below 300FPS. Good stuff!

Another vote for the PGP. Not bad guns by any means.

But for today’s game my god are they hard to play with. Even before I had my leg destroyed I had very limited success using mine. But there’s nothing more fun that actually pulling off eliminations with that little old chunk of brass.

One time I went to a field probly around 2010 or so. The fields compressor went down so I decided to play strictly with the pgp for the day. In a great strike of luck I managed to get three guys out in one game felt like a hero the refs were even cheering. But....... those were only eliminations I made that day lol.

I'll have to go with the ATS ...
full auto mech that is slower than the spider next to me is awesome 😎
And the AT-85 adds a new definition of "rock the hopper" ...

Ho! And did I mentioned the full auto mechanical?
Love my brass ... Love my SSR ... Hard choices ...

Yeah the ATS is extremely well made high quality gun but they are mechanically complex probably the most mechanically complex guns there are, and sadly it seems the plastic is aging. I had one that was teched by the main guy when the company was semi-non-defunkt and it still would sometimes full auto on me when I didn't want it to, which was sad. I never really got to use it in a real day of play, I ended up being too afraid of it or damaging it.
                Working...
