I would trade mine for a Nummech gas threw frame if anyone wants one of the Dye frames now. (Mag or Cocker)

Got one from ANS, and it couldn't do what I was hoping so I sold it (I was looking to R/T it...wouldn't work well for that). I do have to say, heavier than I thought they'd be. When I think UL frame, I think light...and these have a lot of extra meat on them. Pretty comfortable, but had I kept it I would have taken the mill to it and diet milled the thing. And I didn't expect that.

They're still jerking me around and are unapologetic. I'd feel a lot better if I cancelled my orders, but I'm a sucker and really would like to get one of these...My Old Feedback (300+) https://web.archive.org/web/20180112...-feedback.html

If it makes you feel better they likewise have not done anything about mine and I'm about to message them to cancel my order.

Might be worth hitting up FreeFlow directly and asking if they have any blemishes for sale. That's how I got mine. I missed the original pre-order, reached out to see if they were planning another batch, and ended up buying a blem for a $50 discount.
And he's the kicker, there ain't a damn thing wrong with it. If there's a blemish somewhere on it, I have yet to find it.

Sorry for the necropost here but I'd love to hear what you guys think about this frame after owning it for awhile?
Does it have a trigger stop drilled and tapped from the front of the frame? Does it take standard thread glide screws (like same as Benchmark)? 98+ trigger plates?
When I was playing year ago I always wanted a slide frame with the UL grips. I'm tempted to buy one to try it out.

I just got finished building a fully cu stom cocker with one of these frames, so far I don't hate it, but I also admit I haven't played a game with it yet either
It is one of the original 50 (so it has the dust black plate and a ff roller sear), but one of 5 that were raw, someone was nice enough to include brass tipped glide screws (that I polished) the one below the plate is longer than I'd like, but I don't notice it thankfully, I think it feels nice and I don't have anything "nicer" to compare to anyways
Yes it has both pre and post travel adjustments, they cut some corners in the design by nixing the bottom line cam lock they have on every other frame of similar design. So now to remove the bottom line off the dovetail, you gotta do grubscrews from the inside frame. Or you need to send it to a machinist for t-slotting, and from my understanding it will take any 98+ plate and sear combos within reason
Mozak frames are nice, traditional frames, but exceptionally hard to find, typically only available by preorder, and only in small runs.

Tracker: it has pre and post travel stops?? I've never seen a 98+ frame with a post-travel stop.
Glad to hear the glide screws are standard sizes as well. I have a bag full of brass tipped screws somewhere.
Moodog: I appreciate the input. The Mozark is appealing and I'll look into them. Do they have a pre-travel trigger stop? That's probably the most important feature to me.

minimag03 the post tavel can be adjusted by the bottom of the sear it's 10-32 for that one, will need to be an 1.5 inches of threads minimum, all the socket caps start developing a shank after one inch, the front one is obvious it's gotta be a small grubscrew to not interfere with the front screw threads, I had one handy so I didn't have to hunt for the thread sizes sorry
And I don't notice a lot of gritty ont the pull, but I do plan on keeping an eye out for an AKA plate..

Ahhh I see now, similar to the WGP hinge's post travel stop. It makes me so happy to see trigger stops on these new slide frames =) I believe 10-32 is the standard thread for glide screws iirc.
I wasn't too concerned about reports of it being gritty, confident I can fix issues like that with some tinkering. And an AKA plate is always a good idea! Wish Jared would make more 98+ plates.
And thank you for taking pics for me! Much easier than trying to explain lol

If you guys decide to go a different direction, I have new shocktech plates in stock. I just finished building a cocker for Mcb member with a shocktech plate.
also the rear guide screw is 10-32 front is 8/32 front one is really like 8/32 x1/8”.BeardedWorks.com (Your Inception Designs and Shocktech Dealer)

I just wanna confirm this cause I'll need to order 1/8 8-32 brass tipped screws and I'm cheap lol. I've never seen a larger screw in the rear and smaller in the front, but could def be the unique form of the frame. Also, 10/32 screws normally need the trigger plate slot to be widened to allow installation as 8/32 barely fits inside the slot. Also, is the front wide of this frame narrower than more slider? I've got a minicocker that loves rub the timing rod against the frame, was hoping this frame would give it more space.
Edit: where can I find SS 1/8 brass tipped screws (found alloy but who wants those? lol)... mmc has failed me again
