Which trigger did they use, the pilot operated one or the straight mech actuated? They both look like they have about 6 times as many tiny orings as they could ever need. A little dirty air and it is going to be leak city/impossible to diagnose. Also Spurlock has been a bit sleezy since he made knockoff freeflow bodies, shitty vapors, and pulse loaders.

I'm guessing the pilot? It's a super light pull.

It's a sensing valve. See the MacDev XDR mech valve as a comparison.

Ok, I'm gonna need some history on this Spurlock guy. I've been around since the late 90s, but this name evades me.

Short of the long is that he's got a reputation of making near-knock-off products, making big promises and selling a bunch of "meh" quality units. Then usually he gets into patent/copyright hot water, bankrupts that company, and moves on.

Out of curiosity, I was looking for some videos on the Vapor since the RMac bolt train/engine/whatever is supposed to be similar. Came across QTPaintball's review of the 2019 Vapor and the bolt system looks exactly the same.

That's because Michael Spurlock was involved with both products.

Took a short video of my buddy putting a hopper of very brittle paint through the RMac:

Kept track of efficiency as well, got a hopper and 6 pods off a hot 68/4k fill.

I'm not a fan of the stock barrel. It's really big, our small winter paint was all over the place. I threw my acculock kit on it and it was way better. I may send out the back to get freak bored so it'll be actually useful.

So, about a thousand shots. That's not bad, but not great. My Mag that's "an air hog" gets around 1,100 with a proper Freak bore and Lvl 7

Agreed. We'll see how things go after a break-in period. I'm going to continue keeping track of efficiency numbers to see where they truly land. Keep in mind this was also a hot fill, and not a full fill either.

Some barrel cam footage I took shooting the RMac. Note: This is with the acculock barrel kit, as the stock barrel is way too big for our winter paint, it was going all over the place.
