scrounger I do not believe that the emf200 is entirely for the consumer paintball market. As mentioned earlier in here, it looks more valuable as a Less then lethal or training aid for police or other professionals. They have bigger budgets (taxpayer funded), so easier to justify a higher cost. If they sell to consumer players all the better.

Entirely? No, obviously not but with the success of the 100i really doubt they will be selling more units to the training consumers over paintball.

The training realm has simunition and I'm sorry but there's no way you can get closer to real life without using lethal rounds than those suckers since you are using actual firearms (modified) to practice with

Well that's Jack from Planet Eclipe himself in that screenshot. You can ask him directly on PBN if you want more information about it.

Yeah I saw that. I just don't see a huge ongoing market in the training realm. Once a facility has enough of these they don't need more down the road. They won't be buying new ones for each trainee since it's not like the graduating class takes them with.

Paintball on the other hand has new players coming in and players upgrading all the time

I'm sure that PE know they can make enough money from this. They seem to be on top of things and are actually a competent company.

Oh yeah no doubt, they are going to sell them. And from what we have seen of other paintball equipment going into police training, probably at 3x their paintball retail price.

I'm just saying I can see them basically saturating that market and then the sales drying up.
