scrounger I do not believe that the emf200 is entirely for the consumer paintball market. As mentioned earlier in here, it looks more valuable as a Less then lethal or training aid for police or other professionals. They have bigger budgets (taxpayer funded), so easier to justify a higher cost. If they sell to consumer players all the better.

Entirely? No, obviously not but with the success of the 100i really doubt they will be selling more units to the training consumers over paintball.

The training realm has simunition and I'm sorry but there's no way you can get closer to real life without using lethal rounds than those suckers since you are using actual firearms (modified) to practice with

Well that's Jack from Planet Eclipe himself in that screenshot. You can ask him directly on PBN if you want more information about it.

Yeah I saw that. I just don't see a huge ongoing market in the training realm. Once a facility has enough of these they don't need more down the road. They won't be buying new ones for each trainee since it's not like the graduating class takes them with.

Paintball on the other hand has new players coming in and players upgrading all the time

I'm sure that PE know they can make enough money from this. They seem to be on top of things and are actually a competent company.

Oh yeah no doubt, they are going to sell them. And from what we have seen of other paintball equipment going into police training, probably at 3x their paintball retail price.

I'm just saying I can see them basically saturating that market and then the sales drying up.

i just saw this via their facebook post. looks like theyll be on sale at supergame or something.

                  etha 4 = op-r?

maybe a drop in op-r to the etha 2/3... would be nice. tho im not even sure the op-r is really steps ahead of the gamma?

It's been mentioned in the thread already, but I want an electro version with upper or mid breech eyes.

                    Two reasons.

1: magfeds are inherently choppy thanks to gravity and the vagaries of springs, so eyes just make sense. Especially if you want to run a box for the lols.

2: I'm a huge fan of triple burst, and that's hard to get without electrics.

With it being magfed only, there’s no need for mid breach eyes (like on the dye dam). But this version lends itself well to an electronic lower

The DAM I think had lower breech eyes and was still set up basically like a speedball marker. That caused a bunch of issues with the box, no surprise.

Handled one this past weekend at a mag fed game...

                      Notes....

Feels like a way light AR with all the levers and buttons in the right places in comparison to the real gun.

The trigger/valve is crazy easy to get on even more so then a emf100.

i drunkenly put one on payments. not YET having buyers remorse, but... ill let you guys know how it is.
Never owned a magfed, and convinced myself it was worth it because of the OP-R and all the upgrades it comes with vs a stock emf100...

Plus my dad has been wanting one.

                        win win win...
