Well, there's at least a button to remove the cover that goes over the breach so that looks tooless. .

The feeder though, looks like it's basically a cyclone so no luck on something better there

I like this guys review. Its largely subjective but the one thing he points out is having to "prime" the loading system

Other than that, i can see myself using this for about a dozen projects off the top of my head

Few other take aways, regulators don't need to be this complicated

Either, two screws drop the loader off of the back of the marker and then removing the bolt is tooless from there

        Or

Someone forgot the rest of the instructions on how to get the bolt out

I've never played with mine, but I have shot it. It's got to be one of the worst trigger pulls I've ever experienced.
            I can haz feedback?
If I owe you feedback, just remind me, as I sometimes forget.

When did you get it? I'm still confused about that. Have these actually been out for years and just none of us have noticed or seen them on the field?

Man for $200 even I'm tempted a little bit, and I always thought these were dumb as hell. Looks like ANS still has the Stryker MP1 available for the same price, which is kinda cool.

October 2022. Mine is a "Rental" (yellow grips) version though. I'm not sure when the "Retail" (black grips) version was released.

I did a little YouTube research and it seems like the consensus is the ergos/weight distribution are weird, you have prime the feeding by wasting 10-15 shots before it starts to cycle, and I imagine malfunctions would be hard to clear. I know there's supposed be a nicer Empire version with some bells and whistles

Yeah that's the dfender, it's also around $800 and an e marker. Shares the same bullpup format but that's about all

yea. the Dfendr is basically a halo hopper and an Axe shoved together. It works, but it can be finicky if it's not kept clean. There's an engeriing group making better parts for it now, which should help make it less finicky. they're making aftermarket parts for all sots of paintball tings, actually. some things that you can't even get through the manufacturer anymore.

did they used to make stuff for the Dfender ? I just went through the whole paintball section and didn't see anything for the Dfender. Was looking because a friend of mine could use a few parts. He managed to lose his eye covers for one

Did notice they have an adjustable tank regulator that looks like it's in the works though

It's weird this hasn't caught on in the mech world.
It came out during covid at double the price and barely mattered
