Ninja "won", but that doesn't mean that the legal cost didn't still burden them, and could have played a role.

Small update. Maybe Ninja isn't done? They took our call yesterday, and are still going to fill our order. I wasn't the one who made the call, so I don't know 100% what was said, but it appears they aren't quite dead yet. One thing I did learn is that the new tanks Ninja will be sending us will be UN/ISO marked. Ninja seemed to be just about the only company still marking tanks DOT/TC.

Damn forgot trbo can't read comments, I think it's just what countries a tank can legally be used/filled in or maybe it was what tanks can be traveled with like what they allow on the plane

I’m hard pressed to believe being bought out by private equity is a good thing. This will likely take ninja from many people’s number one choice to just another bargain bin tank. Hope I’m wrong.

Yeah, it's better than letting it die at any rate. But I saw what happened to Tippmann Pneumatics, Inc.

Yeah Remington went down the drain after their buyout. IIRC GI was somehow involved in that.

Eh, I don't have high hopes if it's a private equity firm. I can't recall a single instance where products/service stayed the same or improved after one of those leeches took a company over.

the ninja name will still exist, but it won't be the ninja you used to know. They're essentially dead.

At the very least, we won't suddenly see a bunch of Ninja tanks decertified like with the Crossfire debacle. C'mon guys, silver linings!

They've supposedly committed to keeping manufacturing in the US, which I take as a good sign that the new owners aren't immediately gutting the brand.

That was talking about the iso/dot certs

Renatus didn't do First Strike any favors, after getting their hands in that cookie jar. Looks like they're just letting that brand die. And who or what tf is CCS?
