Sadly i also have to say Ninja is dead
last year at NXL chicago a tech took my keg co2 tank with paintball valve to be rehydro and also how much realistically it could hold (yea its silly, but cant part with it yet)
he said get back to me.
well fast forward a month later no info and talked to a different tech.. told me original one no longer employed.. Would look into the info
month later call from a secretary telling me no info on tank, the tech i talked to also no longer employed and come pick it up as soon as possible
about week later (i live about 45 minutes or so away) i go to pick it up
the office no longer said "ninja' on it, the inside was like a ghost town . one maybe two secretaries and no one seemed in the shop.
the secretary told me I was the last tank they rehydro and last tank to be picked up.
long story short , when i asked usual questions like are they selling tanks, regs and (per internet claim) starting rehyro again..
told
some tanks coming in soon, dont know when
regs maybe at end of year
rehydo is no longer going to be done
if that wasnt bad enough.. one of the owners came out and actually talked to me as well
stated also rehydro was done and selling all his equipment to do so as a whole to whoever wanted it..
in so many words he was done with the company..
i was devastated to say the least.. especially my friends and I would gather all our tanks. id bring them up and pick them up when done
my gas cost alone cheaper than one tank being shipped .
when asked who to go to next he offhandedly mentioned an outfit on one of the coasts ..
if all that doesnt say ninja is dead..
throw in before all this they selling basically cheap knock off regs that non ninja on their cheapest tanks starting (guessing) year before this.
when all their tanks had ninja made regs . their basic better than any "cheap" on the market
but final nail in coffin has to be an "equity firm" buying it
lets be totally honest.. outside of MAYBE one or two businesses.
an equity firm is nothing more than a vulture
pick over the body for what its worth, keep the name at best to squeeze every dime out it for name recognition
then move on to the next victim
sad to see another paintball honest company die.
Im just more sad ninja was the top dog even today with products like powerhouse giving up the ghost.
scrounger
