New push propel mechanical marker distributed by empire

Now mine isn't so rare anymore. Anyway, it's not a bad marker, shoots nice and smooth, has a nice trigger, is ok-ish on efficiency.. Basically a mech Machine Vapor, and is just a rebadged/private label Flowtech R-Mac (all Mike Spurlock ventures, and if you don't know Mike, he's got a pretty bad reputation in the paintball world).I can haz feedback?
If I owe you feedback, just remind me, as I sometimes forget.

It's kind of like modern cars. They all end up looking pretty similar in the end.
-
Nova has kind of done that. If the N3 was so temperamental/touchy I would own a few of those. They are light and shoot so easy and fast. But the Emek is so much simpler to operate and adjust, I can't justify buying a Nova. This Push is interesting but I don't see it replacing my ID Emeks anytime soon.

Spurlock enough said. That guy just needs to go away already.
He put the Vapor in Vaporware and wants a piece of PE market share lol. Back in the day they were literally given teams full setup just to shoot there garage and still couldn’t get anyone. All while ghosting actual customers who purchased their products. Dude is a clown.

I am not familiar with the guy to be honest. When was he in business? So he offered no support to people who bought his products while chasing teams to advertise? From googling around i see on reddit he has been this way for a while and took the dye eye pipe?
-
Yup it’s not the first time he has left customers holding the bag to. I don’t get why he keeps coming back. Dude is super scummy. They use his name like a badge of honor in advertising I don’t get it. Guy is a total tool.

You know Chuck E Ducky that does in fact not sound like a badge of honor. How long has this guy been pulling this? I like the idea of nice mech markers making a comeback but even besides the person's infamy i feel this lacks a gimmick to get me excited. Nova's stuff looks temperamental and has QC but at least the N3 looks different and is kind of funky while also being 150 less. This looks very standard and lacks a cool factor in my opinion for something its price. The PE ones are even cheaper and are battle proven already.

I've owned both masks and he was absolutely right. The i5 I think is a step backwards from the i4. I sold my i5 and still have my i4 but it's a backup as my main mask is a push unite.
I appreciated chatting with Byron, he was a stand up guy, very upfront about his products.

Some people like anodizing, and style. call me crazy
Functionally no you are right, they both go pew pew but if that's the argument then I have to add that a brass eagle avenger at $40 can also do that.
There's more to paintball than pricetags, this was clearly not designed for the entry level market

Well. Priced the same as the mech Shocker, which is fitting since they mirror each other, aesthetically. And both are priced higher than what I'd want to pay for a mech. Cool.
Also, TIL that Nova has way more mechs than when I bought an N3. One of them is a cocker? AND they released a pump? I thought Nova was their SIDE hussle!

I don't think it's gonna sell well. Outclassed by cheaper markers and just some awkward design choices. If Empire (same parent company?) was smart they would have updated the Vanquish for release, then maybe a mech frame for that down the line.Last edited by cheapguitarscheapthrills; Today, 07:00 PM.
