Got mine in today. Overall I'm VERY happy with it but there is a lot of tinkering to be done before I give it a thumbs up.

Looks like you can short stroke the pants off these. Will there be some re-training of the fingers? Or can that be adjusted on the frame?

I forget if there is a trigger adjustment, but supposedly the 5way it needs is near impossible to short stroke

Tbh the trigger guard seems most limiting to smooth pulls, mine might get hacked off

Its still possible to short stroke it because it still has to both drop the sear and trigger the 3 way. In practice it has been way harder to short stroke for me because the pull is so light and short with the pneumatic valve and Nova's three way.

The only issue I've had short stroking it is when I tried to walk it (you gotta try right lol). Its short and light enough you can almost walk it but I wasn't able to do it without short stroking and chuffing with paint.

It's still "possible" to short stroke, but it's a lot harder to actually do in reality then you would expect. Definitely much harder to short stroke then even a classic hinge.

Broadly speaking, the ICPL rules generally state that triggers that actuate a pneumatic switch are limited to single finger triggers. So the intent of that rule probably implies that this might not be legal. Where it gets weird is that the rule uses the word "only", and in this case, it looks like the trigger on these both moves the 3-way shaft, *and* actuates the pneumatic valve for the sear (slightly different than how the old pneucocker conversions with a Trilogy SF frame operate where the trigger just toggles the pneumatic valve and the valve/ram handles both the 3-way and sear actuation)...so it feels like a somewhat gray area.

          6.4 Mechanical Markers
6.4.2. Markers with triggers that only activate a pneumatic switch to fire the marker are restricted to a trigger guard with an internal size no larger than 1.400” in height.

All that being said, it certainly feels like it is against the spirit of the rule (whether the letter of the current rule allows for a loophole) regardless, so I probably wouldn't want to risk it/push the limits.

I would have to agree that it's not tourney legal. The rule stating "only activate a pneumatic switch" is saying that if you're activating a pneumatic switch AND something else that's not a pneumatic switch, like a sear, to fire then you can have double finger (aka automag or stock autococker). If the thing you're activating is pneumatic switch, or two, or three, or ten.. then they are all pneumatic switches and have to have the 1.4" limit. Otherwise we could put two parallel 2-way spool valves in the hAirs instad of a single 3-way and they would be double finger legal? Probably not. But sure would be fun!

I'm super interested in it, but not liking that it only works with their 3 way. I'd like to see if someone gets it working with a different 3-way. Nova's is a cool idea, but it's the size of an old sledgehammer lpr and doesn't look great.

Messed with mine a bit today..... The hardest part was honestly finding my Allen keys and the correct length steel braided line.

Tossed some blue loctite on the forward trigger stop (it's kinda hard to spot, you can miss it if you don't know it's there), set it super short, played with the 5-way for about 15 minutes, it's ROLLING now. Very short, very light, VERY smooth, super fast. Honestly this thing is fun as hell. Should be perfect for big games.

Honestly this thing is lighter then some of the mouses I clicked in the late 90s 😂

Thinking this will be wicked fast and super fun 😁
