The quota is for all your previously uploaded images too, and it looks like it has since been decreased, so you'll exceed it no matter how small you make the image. Unless you hadn't previously exceeded 976.6 KB in image uploads.

Don't know why the issues are still occurring. I see tons of pics going up. did you try to resize the pic?

except green user above has the issue too. and if it a blue group issue, admins would be right on that as a "oh btw, its because your blue, support us to get picture uploads" thing.

don't know guys. I can't reproduce this. I have updated the server team. maybe there is something in the logs.

Still getting this issue. It appears that it's a setting in the server side where it doesnt matter if you even use the images you send- i messed up which photo I wanted, and when i "removed" the image from the post, I was unable to replace it due to my remaining space in the sub-1mb limit being tiny. So the server is literally counting any and all data you send it towards your upload limit. I have less than 50kb remaining now...

You're in a different user group so you have different permissions / limitations.

Okay, from what I understand it may be cuz we have pics in our personal galleries. And uploading photos adds to said gallery, but our alloted gallery space is already full. Okay fine. I have a few full size photos in there I could delete and post like 12 resized photos. But when I go to the gallery and look at the pics I have in there, I dont see any way to clear them out. Can we get a function to clear our galleries? Or am I missing an already established feature? And or is that not the issue?

our personal gallery, as far as i can tell, includes any and all photos we have uploaded. The problem is my limit got smaller with pictures i never posted- the ones i talked about above.

i understand the need/want to keep the site storage small, but we have a dedicated picture thread in most forums. this isn't going to work for long if you have to keep making new accounts to post one more photo.

i am of the opinion that this is something in settings for a user group somewhere in the back end. everyone has been a member since the reboot of the site, so its not time based, like a noob lock. what else do we have in common i guess, and why is the admin's second account included in the "no issues" group? sheer luck?

I think the user groups are more like blue, greens, and red uswr names. (Aka account membership levels) Being a blue member you arent contributing to the site, hence our photo size is likely TINY. I bet if you paid for a membership your issue would clear up.

And honestly I think thats fair. This site provides a lot for me. There qlso feels like a lot of dismissal for us blues here, time to nut up or shut up I think.. I never felt it was worth paying for membership before, but I personally quit facebook and this is my only social media platform so after Christmas, Ill be likely signing up for a green name.

admin tested with a blue account and could not reproduce, as mentioned already.
I am aware of the red/green/blue accounts, but green users are reporting having the issue too.
