Can we get a vanguard section in the Armory?

New MCB feels cumbersome. The previous version was very user friendly and more navigable. I'm finding lots difficult and am trying to figure things out on my own however I haven't got much down yet.

I feel the same way. I don't know what it is about it, but I do not enjoy clicking around the forum and finding things. Maybe someone that is more vbulletin articulate will be able to put it into words, but it is really frustrating to not be able to enjoy the forum because I am a huge advocate for it.

I'm wondering this is largely because it's new or nostalgia for the old setup of the ribbon?

I know there are some differences that take some getting used to but as far as ability to get around and find things I just don't understand.
The setup to the Forum page is almost the same. New Topics seems to = New Posts, I honestly haven't found the "Latest Activity" Tab of any use what so ever. I do miss mcbspy and some of the "sidebar stuff"

I'm not trying to dismiss anything you guys are saying. I just don't understand it.

I don't understand it either. It may be that every line in the home page is 3 or 4 lines thick instead of 2 lines thick, it may be that the white background and low contrast between areas makes it hard to jump from 1 area to the next with accuracy. I mean eyeball accuracy knowing what you're looking for. Scrolls fast, topics and forum categories easy to spot with minimum distraction from the threads themselves.

Trying to compare the two messageboards,

1. More contrast between Categories and the background itself
2. The forum is actually slower to load. Not sure why but when I open a thread or a subcategory, its slower here. Scrolling seems to be slower and the forced scrolling up or down is a feature that probably contributes to that.

I think removing the numbers next to the sub tabs would make it easier to read what section it is.

Bearded Works Section (while the airsmith section is a bit slow to start, i would hate to fill it with stuff that is specific to me).

still struggling to stay logged in. every other time i get an email "Failed Login Notification on mcarterbrown.com"

one of the things i miss the most is being able to search other users posts and threads created. Especially if i am looking for specific info. I know some users are involved in specific markers and i need to see threads they created. That feature is gone.

Search bar in the upper right. Click on the pull downarrow and Advanced Search is an option. You can search by member there.

o, It used to be on the actual users info. clicked username and showed the signature, descirption, info and posts/threads.

Here is an example from AO, I just find it easier to search that way. It also loads pages of content. Maybe i am the only one that used this regularly.

Oh, yeah that is dumb. I used to click on users and say "find all posts by this user" and "find all threads started by this user" all the time.

Rather than just scroll through like a feed. Bummer. I am sure it is still in the advanced search. Its just another unwelcome change. Tired finger. lol

gotta tell you i like the old pm/messaging system better, was nice and simple. am i alone on this? also liked the way when u click on a thread u looked at before it goes to the newest post u didnt see yet
