I would like a centerfire bolt! Maybe more than one actually! I'm asking the team now

Still learning my pgp models. netsurferdude2 the one you sold me was a p series, right? If so is there any chance you'd consider making a center-fire bolt for it?

PGPs, PMIs, P12, 68 Magnum, and P68s are all P series. They all use a P series hammer, frame and spring.
K2, KP2, KP2DF, and KP3 are all K series. They have a longer spring, different hammer and no grip frame.

Off the top of my head here is break down of sheridan bolts:

        P-Series

PG Rimfire Bolt with cocking lug and No BBs (larger diameter than a PGP bolt)
PGP Pre-2k Rimfire Bolt with cocking lug. Also used on Pursuit pistols.
PGP Pre-2k Rimfire Bolt with spring loaded lug
PGP 2k Rimfire Bolt Spring loaded lug and BBs
PMI Centerfire bolt with cocking lug and BBs
P68/P12 Centerfire bolt with spring loaded lug and BBs (Called a Speed demon)

        K-Series

K2 Centerfire bolt with cocking lug and bolt handle (Dont remember if this had BBs or not)
KP2 Centerfire bolt with cocking lug and BBs
KP3 Centerfire bolt with spring loaded cocking lug and BBs (also called speed demon). KP3 and KP2 have different BB locations

So to answer your question, you purchased an old PG that was converted to a PGP. Meaning they took a PG bolt, drilled a hole in for the pump arm and added that. And yes, I could make a centerfire PG bolt.

Awesome elaborate response. No bbs in my K2 bolt for your chart above. Love the bolt handles, hence getting one from you to convert a KP2 chpplestone.

I was supposed to play paintball today but the knee wasn't at all agreeable when I woke up this morning. I spent some time in the shop instead:

LtoR: Bolt action PGP bolt (for packers), Bolt/Pump KP2 bolt (for myself), Bolt action KP3 (for cougar), and 2 prototypes of the centerfire PGP bolt.

I am trying to find a process that can provide fast and accurate results for making these centerfire bolts.

the center fire pgp bolts I’ve had were Grindy.

the cooper T pusher kind worked good for no ball explosions.

if the ones you’re making are not grindy/ bindy than it’s basically a new product and the best ever

I've had some time to fondle the gun with the bolt in it. The more I fondle it the more and more I love it. Seems natural. It did take some getting used to as my gun has the quick strip slots and you can easily disengage he bolt from the hammer.. But that's my guns fault. Not the bolt. I chose to run it without the bearings due to this.

I love how it looks on the gun, Just as I had hoped. The coloring on the handle is just right to look like its been on the old KP for along time. The angle of the handle and all it perfect. :Time to fondle the gun again. Be back in a minute to finish:

              Ok Back

After finding several things wrong with my gun, yea i didnt rebuild it right. Nothing the bolt caused all prebolt issues

The gun shots great with the new bolt. I'm loving it.

These bolts are awesome. Converted a stock bolt style (threaded rod into bolt) to this. Amazing difference, and those who have had original KPs...cleaning or changing o-rings is a 45 minute yoga routine with that lug through the lower tube. Looks good on this elongated and top-tubed KP.

Ignore the stock, it is a work in progress. Also, ignore the fingerprints, didn't want all the glare after polishing it out.

I'm not sure what half of this stuff is, and once I have time to get my old as dirt pgp up and runnin, shiny and clean, I will be looking into a bolt action bolt in the future for sure! Really cool stuff!
