Like the title says i was wondering if anyone has put an autotrigger on an autococker? I would imagine that it would make the cocker similiar to an Response trigger on an tippy. You hold the trigger down it goes auto you let go and it and it stops shooting. However i can see a couple problems timing shootdown just to name a few, however i am sure that there are more that i am not thinking about. I have googled the "idea" and found one youtuber who has done it an reddit question about it 2 years ago. However i would think that it would be a fairly popular mod to do considering the payback and if you got the correct autotrigger arm it would be easy to turn off / undo.
With that said i can see it being nothing more than a waste of time as most fields will not allow full auto.
From Reddit "The only workable method was the one made by boston paintball. Tim of PaintballTek has a great couple videos on one he built. They claim less than 30 kits to ever exist, about half came on factory twisters and the other half sold as complete front blocks and grips. OG twisters with this kit change hands occasionally for over $5000.
Using a 2 way switch tied to the pump arm and a piston behind the trigger the marker would activate the piston at the rear of the cocking stroke and deactivate it at the front. Basically it works exactly like a tippmann response trigger. In fact tippmann may have gotten the idea from bps as bps made these kits back in the late 90s."
Does anyone have any information on this and maybe know why it is not done?
