Way back in the day, before mobile phones, lew would play a prank on people by phoning them saying he was a supervisor from the telephone company. He'd tell the person that there were service men in the area doing some work up on the phone lines and due to the nature of the work, the person's phone may ring. He'd tell them this is normal and of no concern but to please NOT answer the phone as that would mess up the work being done, and that there was even a chance that the service men could be electrocuted if they did. Moments later lew would call them back and find the person's phone would ring and ring and ring.
