Stay vigilant and patient. Even PayPal would frown if one were to file a dispute, claim to have returned an item, not provide tracking and expect a dispute to go the way of the buyer if the seller never gets the item back...
Let's not forget that Price posted it for sale here the same evening this thread was started! I posted in the thread then flagged it right away. I would go out of my way to avoid any transaction with him.
This has become more complicated than it needs to be 😑 and is dragging on for too long. I hope this issue can be resolved/squashed soon.
All points towards shenanigans. Price said a couple of times that he received a paperweight, but initially he offered for the body alone as per his last post, so then the body alone is not a paperweight? Inconsistencies everywhere and he doesnt pass the smell test. Not from the very beginning. l.i caretaker offered the resolution he wanted last week and yet he continued to jerk him around and this isn't resolved somehow. He's lucky I am not the admin here, I would have itchy hands towards the ban hammer... just waiting for this crap to be resolved so that I can ban his ass... thats not to say, maybe the admins do have the ban hammer ready.
That's a red flag in itself. Many forums that have BST prohibit having multiple usernames per IP. Unless you can prove that you have a brother living in the same household or something like that... it's not permitted. It shouldn't be permitted here either.
Did problems occur under that username that you know of?
My real take on this is that l.i caretaker showed a back block in the picture and even though Price did say “body only,” I’d have just chalked it up to a miscommunication.
I don’t like that the picture used in this thread lacked the back block picture from the sale one, but that does feel more like it falls into the “omission of truth” vs “lie” category. Regardless, seems like a miscommunication from the start between buyer and seller.
As the thread went on, however, and more stuff was revealed..It seems pretty clear that Price was up to some shady business (Not logging on, ghost accounts, reselling an item he was probably returning), all while Caretaker was attempting to resolve the issue at a loss. Point is, I think this is probably the only thing that matters. When it came time for a resolution, only one party wanted to play ball.
That’s not even to mention, I don’t like how quickly a dispute was opened against a greenie.
My personal opinion would be to let it play out and as the_matrix_guy suggested, swing thy mighty ban hammer on Price’s IP.
My take away from all this drama is not to buy or sell anything to either of these guys. This is ridiculous. I've had a few bad deals but this has taken on a life of it's own.
Caretaker told Price in a dm on page 2 that he never purchased the back block from Mozak, but was able to take a picture of it?
Once people began to question, the back block came back, and he tried to make it right on the back end.
Prices reaction to the original deal was valid I think, but as usual, he messed it up.
You can buy from me it will be nicelly packed and all, or you can buy from caretaker it will be wrapped in a napkin with tape over it and missing part. Not to mention that if you complain all he will only do is push his threadfull narative to destroy your reputation. Then he will find the missing part that he never had and save the day like a true hero, while applauded by couple of souless bean munchers cheering him up and throwing thier emptyed budweisers at the guy that had an hair cut and smelled good, all this for no good reason.
The backblock in question iin the pic was not even a Mozak. I purchased Body only from Mozak with intention on p bloclk.
i put in post the conversation with Mozak . Also i put in post PRICE knew there was no back lblock in deal. He
was going to have me ship stright to Superman to get MIDBLOCKED I also posted that conversation . Once Price received he asked about the Block an tried to get me to Refund him $60 which i refused. He started a Paypal dispute an Same day llisted the Body for Sale,, i sent screenshot to Paypal. Once PayPal contacted me on 6/1 I posted an DM him saying i will ship the back block in pic. He has not replied an ghosted me for 10 days. Paypal had told him to RETURN. . I will give refund. . Also it seems that in future If i sell a BODY only i will male sure thete is nothing else in pic it seems according to some who cant read “Body only” means all in pic. Also if Buyer asks for Body alone “like Price Did” There real intentions are EVERYTHING in pic lol ,
jJust for reference. On the Mozak sight. He has pic of EVERYTHING. Yet the drop done says Body only . Guess hes in the wrong also
